Nice ambience and settings, just 3-4 miles from Cambridge in a very quiet village, Lode. It’s a Thai themed dining, so you can tuck into nice noodles and rice, with your choice of chicken, beef or prawns. The food is very tasty and as authentic as you can get in Cambridge. Good selection of beers and ales. The service is prompt, and the owner is very friendly. In our group, we had a vegan, and the owner quickly rustled up some stir fry tofu and vegetables to accommodate. The only down side is the parking (or the lack of it), and you have to park on the roadside.

Food overall was very good. However portion sizes were too big as we had the problem of enough of our main dish but not enough rice to accompany. All of us didn’t finish our food as there was just a bit too much. My partner said the massaman was great but too sweet. My mother is a regular there and she always gets a children’s portion as it’s normally too much food. It had a lovely atmosphere and the decorations were amazing – loved all the plants!

We visited on Wednesday 27th August 2025 for a birthday meal for my husband, 3 of us, it was probably about the 5th time we have visited, we are also fans of the Wrestlers, but find Pattaya Kitchen just a little quieter and more spacious, so it is our place if choice if we are able to drive out. The food is absolutely top notch and service so friendly.
I was so pleased to see it so busy on a Wednesday evening just showing how popular it is.
The additional side dishes available if a great addition, and the availability of a dessert is also good ….not that I could have possibly fitted one in!!? Maybe sharing sides and a main would have made this possible…..next time

Today, we visited Anglesey Abbey and wanted to eat lunch after. I was impressed with the reviews and Pattaya Kitchen didn’t disappoint me! The service was great and the food truly delicious. Prices are more than reasonable. We had a lovely family meal. Thank you.

We had an amazing birthday dinner at Pattaya Kitchen on Friday evening. The food was absolutely delicious, we all had something different, both stir fries and different curry options. We loved the side dishes available, the chicken satay and spring rolls were delightful. The staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was lovely.

Perfect Thai. Super polite staff who were enthusiastic and friendly. The meal was fantastic, with generous portions and so much flavour. Great choice of beers too. Amazing value. Also – extra bonus for being dog friendly!

I just had to try it as I have been going to The Wrestlers for over 35 years.
This is a huge venue, loads of seating, they could accommodate a whole coach load of people and only a short walk from the NT Anglesey Abbey. I cycled there from Haddenham via Wicken fen, then back via Reach and Ely.
The Prawn Hot Thai was as good as the Wrestlers and had 8 Prawns in the meal.
I was a little disappointed in the real ale beer selection considering it was a free house and the Wrestlers a Charles Wells pub, but it is Early days. Well worth a visit. I went on a Sunday afternoon, this could be a great venue for a band as the place is so large.
Needs more Thai stuff hanging from ceiling or on walls to give it more character, but it’s early days.
