Found this hidden gem in Rockingham, NC. What a nice retrofitted building. I had the chicken wing special with homemade chips. Wings come breaded with a choice of three varieties. Chips came with ranch and spicy ranch for dipping. This place has been recognized as a great local place to eat by Greensboro News & Record. It also won three awards in 2020, which is noted by plaques on the wall. Beautiful photos from the area are also featured.

So our first time to Rockingham ever. Googled eats and chose Pattan’s. Got rib combo with brisket, collards, BBQ pasta salad, hush puppies, and a side of Brunswick stew. Collards perfect. Loved BBQ pasta salad. Brunswick stew very good. Ribs great. Brisket good. Hush puppies excellent. Order coconut dessert for wife. I tried it as far a coconut goes it wasn’t bad. She loves coconut so I got it mainly for her. Hefeweizen was excellent.

I am not much for brisket but we tried it. I was very pleased . Ordered the burnt ends and collards with smoked chicken. So much food !!! It didn’t disappoint! Good service too

My husband and I stopped by while on a trip out of town. I wish there was a Patton’s where I live! You can NOT go wrong with the ribs, chicken tenders, or pasta salad. We ordered our dessert to go because we were so full! I highly recommend the hot fudge sundae and the cinnamon bun cheesecake-you will not regret it! I was surprised that this place served southern food because the aesthetics aren’t your typical bbq joint decor. It’s very classy and the staff were all super friendly and attentive.

Seriously the best brisket I have ever had!! It was thick, tender and juicy! Not fatty like other places I’ve been to. The portions were generous and the staff was so friendly. This place is a drive from me but it will definitely be a must-stop whenever passing through! Leave room for the coconut pudding with shortbread crust.

Best food ever! Lots of vegan options. The plant based burger surpasses all of the other vegan burgers. The Italian vegetable lentil soup is amazing! The marinated vegetables are absolutely delicious!

We happened to stop by on a Wednesday when the special is Burnt Ends! Of course I had to ask what they were and then I had to try them. It’s no wonder they sell out of the special early… Service was great, and the food was wonderful. My husband had the pulled pork with coleslaw. I had the burnt ends platter with housemaid chips and collard greens. Everything was seasoned perfectly and we had two different sauces to taste. Now I’m sitting at home and wondering if we could have bought some of the sauce to bring home with us…

Some of THE BEST BBQ I’ve ever had! The pulled pork, ribs, brisket & chopped pork truly is slow cooked to perfection & literally melted in our mouths. Our server, Mary Kate, was super helpful & knew the menu like the back of her hand. My husband & I are SC natives & luckily found this place on our way home from NC. We loved it so much that we purchased 2 of their sauces (Swangy is my favorite) and are already planning our trip back to Rockingham just for Pattan’s. GREAT JOB Y’ALL! 🙂
