We stumbled upon this wonderful bar on New Year’s Eve and felt so welcome and comfortable. Learning the history, bs’ing with the Owners, and enjoying their top shelf liquor while sipping a miller light was GLORIOUS. My company and I highly recommend this establishment. The owners have done such an outstanding job of preserving history while offering top notch service. They’re doing it right. In a different life THIS is the bar I want to own. They must make a killing.

We had the taco special here on the first night of a 21-day road trip across the Dakotas to Montana and back. While not authentic Mexican, the food was Midwest wholesome and tasty. The patio seating was pleasant. And the service was Midwest nice. Food prices were quite reasonable, but the beer was a bit steep.

This place is awesome! Pam and Denny are absolutely fantastic!! Passing through on a cross country journey to my new home spot in the UP and had to stop for the night. One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! We met some really nice locals and had some fun chats. Great spot here and great energy in these walls! Food is very good. Have been there several times for the fish fry and once for weds. Tacos. Tacos are awesome and it’s near impossible to get a seat because everyone knows. Pat can be a little rough around the edges, but hey, if you enjoy a straight forward attitude he is your cup of tea. His wife is great. Will be back and back and back again….
