Great local BBQ and sides, from fast and friendly service. The restaurant is in a plaza, off Assembly Dr, right off Rt. 64. Plenty of parking in the lot, and especially right near their restaurant too. There is seating inside and a bathroom. Their sauces are available, along with to-go cups, utensils, napkins, etc. Soft drinks, iced tea, water may be purchased from their cooler too. Also, for the vegetarian in your family, they have pulled jackfruit- and many sides that are meat free. Coleslaw, mac-n-cheese, broccoli salad are all vegetarian.

Unfortunately this may have been the worst BBQ I’ve ever reviewed. I hate leaving one star reviews for small businesses but this is my true and unbiased opinion. Ordered around 3pm on a Thursday and ate in, my order was the 1 meat plate (brisket) with fries and 1/4 rack of ribs. Ringing in at about $35 with drink and tip. At first glance I was blown away with the portions! I don’t think I’ve ever got so much brisket on one plate! Unfortunately over half of it was thrown away. Ribs were unappealing and even worse when trying to cut them apart, hard and dry. After one chewy bite, you could tell they were either microwaved or from the day before, they also ended up in the trash. The brisket was more like a pot roast, lacked a smoke ring and didn’t taste great in my opinion. Fries were good though! I’ve reviewed a lot of BBQ restaurants, I’m sad to say this was the worst.

I went in today with my boyfriend for dine in and we both had a bit of a different experience. I ordered the Fried Pickle Sammy with baked beans and coleslaw. I loved my food, the sauce on the sandwich was delicious and the pork tasted just as great! Huge fan of the coleslaw but the baked beans were a bit too peppery tasting for me!
After I finished my plate I did try my boyfriend’s brisket and to be honest I couldn’t even finish chewing it or even swallow it, it really honestly tasted bad… but like I said my pork sandwich was delicious and I’d definitely get it again!
My meal was $20 for the sandwich and 2 sides.

Found this bbq place close to home when the pork ribs I was going to grill were rotten straight out of the package. Saw that they serve bbq so we took a shot and boy are we glad we did! Pulled pork, ribs, salt potatoes and bbq beans were all delicious and my husband loved the brisket. The sauce selection was great too. Plenty of parking, tables were clean. We’re definitely going back and recommending to friends.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been to a good BBQ place. Thanks to “Eat Local New York”, I found another great place for food. While they do have a dining area, it’s quite small. I honestly recommend takeout if you’re getting food for large crowds (then again they do cater). I got their pulled pork tacos and pork belly burnt ends; phenomenal flavor. The brisket didn’t disappoint either, literally disintegrated in my mouth.
If you want some high quality BBQ, come to Pats Pigs in Mendon.

Personally, this is my favorite barbecue place! My wife and I just tried it on Valentine’s Day and were the only two dining in and the owner was kind, hospitable, and very personable. Also, we loved the food. She got the ribs and I got the “eat local” sandwich and both were incredible!! The sides were also good with the mac & cheese being stand out. I would definitely recommend it to anybody who’s looking for a good barbecue. Also, the signature sauces were amazing especially the honey barbecue (:

I ordered off the catering menu. I had heard wonderful things about Pat’s pigs so thought we would give it a try. We normally go to 96 barbecue which we absolutely love so I was hoping it would be around the same quality. I do have to say that the brisket was phenomenal. The pulled chicken and pork dry as could be. Tasted okay but needed something to make it a little more moist. I was disappointed in the coleslaw it was made with miracle whip or some kind of a sweet cream and the whole entire thing went to waste. It was horrible. I did think that the price was high but was hoping that the quality would be good. Would I go back there? Probably to try like a dinner? but I would not order off a catering and you ever again. I was also surprised that there was an extra sauce to go along with the meats in case it was dry. On the plus side, customer service was phenomenal.

Portion size was very good. With that being said that does not make up for freshness and quality. Meat was well cooked but lacked that smoke flavor one looks for in bbq meat, brisket was tender but had the flavor profile of pot roast with bbq sauce as did the bone in beef rib, the broccoli salad was good as well as the Mac and cheese. However the coleslaw was nasty and spoiled. Really wanted to like this place but I don’t think I will be back.

Just grabbed lunch at Pat’s Pigs – delicious! Pork sandwich and brisket sandwich were very tasty, and I recommend their Cajun corn and broccoli salad. We used a coupon from an area entertainment book; they also have a lunch special on a great deal (sandwich, chips, and drink). Give this place a try!

Don’t know if it was an off day, or what, but from the reviews of generous proportions and top tier. Very confused what’s going on. Everything I ordered in the picture below was $50. We are a family of 4 and there was a zero chance it would feed all of us..
Compared to other BBQ places I would not recommend this one compared to them. Prices are too high for what they give, and for what their website supports some of it is misleading. It’s not full sliced brisket. It’s mostly chopped.
Would definitely wonder if these would be the serving sizes if we ate in? The other photos in reviews show more promise but i don’t know what happened with this.
$50 for less than a pound of food.
1 pint of mac n cheese is $10? Same price as the pork belly burnt ends (small)… which were sadly burnt… like burnt burnt.
There was and is zero smoke rings.. i don’t know what’s going on there. I can promise it’s not even smoked at least the brisket… no smoke at all. Tasted more like pot roast. Not USDA prime. I could speculate, but it tasted all baked in an oven.
The 3 x 3 is HALF a slice of brisket. 1 sausage link. 5 oz of pulled pork. 3 salt potatoes.
They have a lot of sauces which is nice and the potatoes were great.
But… it’s BBQ we are talking about.
