Great spot in Cumberland! The restaurant is smaller than I thought it would be and it’s a little loud in there. However, the interior itself is beautiful and I enjoyed our seating arrangements. I would definitely recommend making a reservation if you choose to go.

We started with complimentary bread and butter. Not my favorite complimentary bread- I found it dry and not cut very well. However, free is free! My iced tea with mango was very good though. I definitely recommend some of their flavor shots and as a helpful hint- their refills are not free.

I ordered the chicken Alfredo. The wait time was long (around 45 minutes) but not unpleasant. Our waitress was apologetic but I didn’t find the wait to be incredibly egregious. When the food did come out I have to say it was some of the best Alfredo I’ve ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, pasta was cooked well, and the Alfredo was creamy and perfectly thick. Almost like an Alfredo Mac and cheese.

They’re not giving the food away and I do think some portion sizes could be more generous for the price point. However, my dish was exceptional and our waitress was very kind so I have no issue with giving Pat’s a 5 star ranking.

Had a quiet, relaxing dinner here and really enjoyed it. I ordered the Chicken Sorrento and it was very good—well prepared and flavorful. The service was excellent and attentive without being rushed. Overall, a great spot for a calm evening meal. Would definitely return.

The food was fabulous. We loved our bartender Andrea. She was friendly and very helpful with our menu selections. The martini’s were delicious and our chicken parm with home made pasta was the best. We will definitely go back soon.

We’ve enjoyed very good dinners at the Johnston location so we thought we’d give the new restaurant in Cumberland a try. Big mistake. We ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio and it was brought to the table already opened in a wine chiller. As the waitress did not pour, I poured a taste for the three of us. When we all thought it tasted very off/turned, I looked at the label and saw that it was not the wine we ordered. I told the waitress that we were served the wrong wine and it tasted bad, she said that was the only Pinot Grigio they had and it was their house wine. I asked to see the menus again, pointed out the one we ordered and told her we weren’t going to drink something we didn’t order and tasted bad.
I ordered a glass of another Pinot Grigio from the menu. The back and forth between the waitress/bartender/and host took forever and I didn’t get my glass of wine until their lengthy consultation was over. Service after that was nonexistent. There were only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant and the wait staff spent more time chatting within earshot in the back than waiting on tables.
When the waitress never returned to clear the table and take our dessert order, I went to the back and interrupted their conversation to ask for our check. The check came with a charge for 60% of the cost of the bottle I returned. Since it seemed like the bartender might be in charge and our waitress was no where in sight again, I went to the bar and asked to speak with the manager and was told she wasn’t there. The bartender took the bill to the back for another
consultation with the waitstaff and the host and the host returned and said we were being charged for what we drank from the bottle.
I reminded her that we only had sips and would not pay for something we didn’t order. She said she’d have to call the manager.
Another unnecessarily long wait. The host returned with a corrected bill and told us not to come back.
Just as shocking, I saw the bartender cap and return that bottle of their house Pinot Grigio that wasn’t even from Italy to the fridge!
If this is how Pat’s Italian restaurant employees treated us: a 65 year old woman, my 90 year old mother, and a 63 year old woman in a wheelchair, they don’t deserve your business either. RI has many excellent Italian restaurants that treat their customers with courtesy, consideration, respect, and good service. We won’t return to any of Pat’s Italian Restaurants.

This is one of the best itilian restaurants in the area.  It is located in Cumberland plaza near Searbra nested in a corner spot with plenty of parking.

The restaurant has a large bar.  The tables are on the smaller size, but given the space at this location, it is easy to see why.   If I could change one thing, it would be dim the lighting for a warmer feeling.

The staff is very attentive here.  The restaurant was at capacity, and we spent very little time waiting for anything.

The salad was good made with crispy Romain lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and olives.

I had calamari for an appetizer it was crispy and tender.  My main course was the oh so delicious chicken parmigiana smothered  with cheese and Pat’s soon to be famous tomato sauce.   It’s sweet and has just the right amount of moisture.  The chicken was cut thin, fried crisp, and tender. The pasta was prepared perfectly.  It was a delicious course.

It can’t speak for my wife’s scallops and risotto.  She did note that it was delicious, though.

2 stars due to excessively long wait time for entrees. Waitress was kind and polite but perhaps the kitchen was overwhelmed. Food was good but I’m sorry, too much competition in the area for Italian food at this price point.

Our family had a great meal here earlier this evening! This new restaurant has a good thing going. Started off with some great cocktails and nice wine (Meiomi Pinot Noit). The appetizers were great – especially the Fig and Prosciutto Flatbread and the Mozzarella Triangles.

For dinner I had the chicken inferno off the specials menu and it was excellent. The chicken was cooked to a perfect juiciness and the ingredients were fresh. The radiatore homemade pasta + pink sauce is no joke – and the side chicken soup was nice as well.

As we dined our server, Shauna, was sweet, knowledgeable, and responsive. She made sure our glasses stayed full with drink and water, and kept our table free from dirty dishes.

The music was good as we stayed after and chatted and enjoyed the atmosphere. Pat’s closed at 9 but they did not rush us at all as we ordered one last drink. We ended the night with espresso + Frangelica drinks that put a nice top to a nice Fall Dinner. Overall solid experience and would definitely dine here again.

Thanks for having us!!

I’ve eaten here twice and both times, all of the food was amazing. Even in a busy Saturday night, our food came out quickly and hot! My favorite appetizer so far is the Mac and cheese bites. And the brisket ravioli was delicious. The drinks were also very good- best espresso martini I’ve had!
