I went to the place for the first time and I met Eva and Angel. I ordered a chicken and steak with shrimps fajita and damn it was great. The fajita was sizzling hot as well as the soup and the beans that it came with. Angel and Eva was very welcoming. The staff are great!

I frequent this establishment. The food is great, I usually get the Gient or Patron burrito and my friend gets the steak fajitas. The service is quick and friendly. The atmosphere is nice and chill.

Ordered a steak burrito, but received only refried beans, nothing else on it. I called and spoke with the manager, he offered no apology. He wanted me to drive down there and show him, or have my husband who worked a long day to drive back to show him. I explained I took a picture, and could go another day. He just kept arguing with me about how they put steak in the burrito, which clearly they did not. He was just refusing to apologize. So sad.

I’m honestly really disappointed and frustrated with my experience at El Patron Bar & Grill in Camarillo. I ordered a burrito with pastor and asada because I was starving — and what I got was mostly beans. Hardly any meat at all, even though I ordered two meats. To make it worse, the other people I was with ordered just one meat and somehow got way more than I did.
It felt like they just threw beans in to fill it up and didn’t care about the quality or fairness of what they were serving. I paid extra expecting a better meal, not a bean-filled burrito. Really disappointed — not planning to come back after this.

A nice quiet cozy restaurant. Great staff. Grab a cold beer or margarita and enjoy your favorite Mexican foods. Order some guacamole, and try the Chili Relleno and tamale combo.

If your looking for good Mexican food in Camirillo then Patrones is your place. I’m particular to the Chilli Colorado as it is excellent in my opinion. Everyone that has go e with me however has said that their food is excellent. If you ever in the area this is an excellent place to stop.

Lunch with coworkers during the week. Not crowded, plenty of space. Service was friendly and fast. I got a chicken salad asked for steak with it too- tasty! Salad was simple, flavor was definitely in the grilled chicken and steak seasoning. Nothing extravagant, it was good, portion was generous.

Juan the bartender was unabe to understand stand I wanted to see the happy hour bar menu. So I told him OK just order me a hamburger. He didn’t understand what I was asking for. So I paid for the $10.00 beer and went to another restaurant. With fantastic service. Never again will I ever go back to this establishment.

I had the chicken enchiladas, and they were packed with flavor—the sauce was tangy, and the chicken was tender and juicy. The homemade rice and beans were the perfect sides.
