Had been meaning to check this restaurant out for months but just don’t make it into Fairfax often. Met up with a friend here for dinner on a Wednesday night. Seat yourself and our server was there almost immediately with the menu. He is vegetarian and inhaled the veggie burger I am a carnivore and laid into the beef tacos. I had ordered a Margarita on the rocks and it was pretty good, top the whole thing off with an iced tea and I was a happy camper. Had no idea that they do trivia there till the guy came around asking if we wanted to play. My friend had to take off but I stayed and joined some other friends of mine that I had bumped into on the way back from the ladies room. It was a casual fun time and I will check it out again.

We came twice already to this establishment. Both time we received excellent service from the staff. The food was fresh and well prepared. The beef stew and the roast beef open face were my favorites. The wings were very good as well. I liked everything we ordered so far. The portions were generous and the price was affordable. This is the one place in the area where we can enjoy our night out without spending an outrageous amount of money.

Been here twice. Both times service was friendly but slow. Real chatty with the regulars. Took forever to get a beer. Went to watch football and the staff would rather turn up the volume on the classic rock station to sing than sound on the game that people were trying to watch so this is not a good place to watch sports. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. Got served hamburger buns as white toast so while that was funny it makes me think they’re cheap. It’s a dive bar.

Patriot’s Pub & Grill is such a fun, laid-back spot! The food is really tasty — the burgers and wings were my favorite — and the portions are generous. The vibe is super casual and friendly, perfect for hanging out with friends or watching a game. The staff was welcoming and made everything feel easy, even when it was busy. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to for a relaxed night out.

Our first time here. Wednesday for lunch while furloughed. We both got the Pats Burger and fries. Burger was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the veg on it was fresh and crisp, fries were crisp on the outside soft and fluffy on the inside. Really hit the spot. Had a draft beer and the temperature was just right. My wife and I met as employees in the same bar years ago and are always looking for the same feel, this is the place. Feels like home, feels like friends. The staff is very nice and down to earth, super friendly. We have already decided this will be a regular stop for us from now on.

I had the Reuben and it delivered! Delicious and hit the spot. I feel like this restaurant delivered exactly what I expected and even went a bit above. All the waiters were super friendly and helpful. There’s a cheerful atmosphere here. Good menu options and I would say good serving sizes and good prices.

Relaxing atmosphere at 8pm on a Thursday. Food came out hot, fresh and quick. Unlimited free toppings (including bacon) on chicken sandwich. No skimping on the tacos and so yummy! Variety of appetizers and daily specials. We’ll be back.

38% over menu price is about what you will pay if you pay the recommended 25% tip, 3% surcharge on credit card, 6% state tax, and 4% local meal tax.
And the employees could definitely be a little nicer when you mention your concerns to them, definitely lacking customer service skills.
Edit again in addition to overcharging you slightly on the sales tax they’re going to surcharge you 3% for paying with a credit card, and also add sales tax to that surcharged amount.
Downgraded my review, they’re incorrectly rounding up on sales tax, they default the tip to 25% which is ridiculous and they’re asking for up to a 30% tip and you can’t go low any lower than 20%, this tipping society is getting out of hand
