This was my first time visiting the downtown location of this bar, and I went with a group of coworkers. As soon as we arrived, the gentleman at the front mentioned a lower-level space and suggested we check it out—naturally, we took him up on it. The walk downstairs immediately set the tone, with eye-catching and eclectic artwork lining the stairway that made the descent feel like part of the experience.

Once downstairs, the atmosphere was incredible—intimate, energetic, and full of character. The staff were outstanding, taking the time to recommend drinks, introduce us to new shots, and make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of throughout the night. The music really stood out as well; the owner has recently started a vintage vinyl collection, and guests can actually choose which records to play. It’s a unique and interactive concept that makes customers feel involved and adds a personal, nostalgic touch to the entire experience. Overall, it was a fantastic night and a memorable introduction to the downtown location.

An authentic Irish pub in Louisville! I had the Shepard Pie and it was amazing. Fantastic flavor.. they have selection of craft beers and traditional Irish brews. Great atmosphere and staff..

As in Ireland.. place your drink and food order at the bar.. and they will bring your order to you. Fun place..

Very good pub and bar. Love going before and after events. Very good food, everything on the menu is very good i recommend anything. The Patrick burger is the best thing on the menu imo though. Great atmosphere, music, lighting, everything. Service is quick, you do have to go to the bar to order food, but that doesn’t take long. Overall I’d say its a 9.5/10 highly recommend for before/after events, a/o just going for food and vibes.

This is a classic Irish Pub with lots of character. The original booths have leaded glass and antique light fixtures. They serve all of the drinks you would expect at an Irish pub. The fish and chips portions are very generous. The shepherd’s pie is delicious and so is the salmon.

Friendly staff, great food, beautiful building, and loved the ghost stories. There are 4 floors. There is a slow elevator and stairs. The parking lot across the street costs $27 for 9 hours.

Was recommended to dine here. Was not disappointed. Food was great, very good sized portions. Our table had a pizza, burger, and the fish/chips.

First time here, a friend recommended Oshea’s to us since we was in the area for the science center. The food was amazing! The servers and service was awesome. Food came quick and servers was friendly. My kids even mentioned they have the best crispy pickles they have ever tasted and my oldest said her burger was the best burger she’s ever had. Would definitely recommend and will return next time we are in the area.

Overall: Very good food
Me and my family got a pretty wide variety of food here so here are my thoughts.

Price: It definitely wasn’t cheap but if you don’t get a side of fries it’s about the same price as anywhere else but at a way higher quality so I definitely recommend.

Patrick burger: Very good, I tried bites with and without the pickles and I preferred without pickles.

Cod: Very good, had an actual flavor other than “fishy” and we all liked it. Also the pieces were pretty big.
Shaved Steak Quesadillas: Pretty good, I enjoyed how much meat was actually in the quesadilla.

Chicken Strips: Extremely tender, fell apart like fish so definitely high quality.

Mac & Cheese: Perfect. The best Mac and cheese I think I’ve ever had.
Strawberry shake (Non-alcoholic): Pretty good, a little pricey for how much there was but not bad.

Bourbon Apple Cobbler: Pretty good, I definitely enjoyed it. There was a bit too much salt in the caramel for my taste buds but I’m not sure the rest of my family agreed with me on that so take it with a grain of… Salt… Hehe, puns.

French fries: Mediocre at best honestly. All the food was top tier but the fries kinda sucked and at $4 for a side of fries I would definitely save my money there.

Extra notes: Very good > Pretty good

Food was great for bar food in a tourist area! I love an Irish bar, decoration and the atmosphere. Service was underwhelming, did not check on us after food arrived even after having to ask for silverware, napkins etc. Waitress who checked us out was very nice. Will go back but with different expectations.

My daughters and I flew in and needed a meal. O’Shea’s was great! Kevin was a huge help, had great Fish and chips. Music was great, we were singing along and having a great time and it was just what was needed after a long day of traveling.
