Our group of 8 had a cozy private dining “room” at the front of the boat with a spectacular view of the castle and old bridge. The food was upscale Mediterranean, the service authentic Italian. This was one of the nicest dining experiences I’ve ever had (and I am old and well traveled.) I can only recommend it to everyone visiting Heidelberg! It’s easy to get to crossing the old historic bridge. The only tiny little downfall: if you want to go there by car, there is no parking anywhere really close. But walking there along the river from the nearest parking lot is part of the experience!

The service and the tour in the boat was good. Didnt use the hotel so no comment on it. Food is not the highest quality and not much selection but dessert was ok. I guess you ultimately pay for the nice atmosphere and the view of the city and thats what you get.

– the restaurant was kinda full and was under-staff.. but the staff tried their best to service everyone (thumbs up to them)

– the food.. was average and somewhat the worst we had for our 2 weeks trip around europe.

The food here SUCKS. I don’t think I’ve had food this bad in a long time. The bread was honestly the best thing. They also brought out 4 things we didn’t order and they were on the bill – very sketchy. Slowest service, understaffed.

We reserved on new years eve at 20:00, We had to wait 30 minutes for our table (which we had reserved 3 weeks in advance). Dinner waiting time was 2.5 hours after ordering and we are still waiting. its 23:00, almost new year and still no food.
Atmosphere definitely does not match the price…..Not a nice feeling overall.
Very unhappy about the service.

Both of our pasta dishes were very good. Our tickets indicated reserved outdoor seating but we ended up having to sit inside due to a large party, which lessened the quality of the views as the boat moved along the river

Nice place and the ride with the boat was unexpected and very beautiful. However the drinks were not so good and my food was disappointing especially that the description of the food was misleading. I ordered a mozzarella and steak fillet salad and it barely came with mozzarella and the steak was overcooked in parts and way under cooked in other parts so unfortunately it didn’t taste good.
