We were first timers and enjoyed our pizza SO much!! One of the best pizzas hands down! Also the guy that made our pizza was so enthusiastic about how beautiful it was and his love made it taste even better

Ive never met a pizza I didn’t like. We ordered two different kinds of pizza and both were terrible. Almost inedible. We also ordered chili dogs that should never have been served due to the terrible quality. The hostesses were also quite rude.

Ordered takeout. Sent us home with two orders of burnt chicken wings that should have never been served. Dipping sauce was missing. Called to ask for refund and staff acted to busy to help. Took my phone number and told us we would be refunded. No phone call refund or apology was received. They have lost our business.

This is a cute place and it was nice that they were open on a Sunday because a lot of other places in the area we’re not. The people in our party who ordered pizzas were really pleased. Said they tasted great and they looked good. My husband enjoyed his barbecue. However, My son and I had a sub sandwich and while the sub bread was good and crispy, that’s basically all the sandwich was. There was hardly anything inside that sandwich. Very disappointing. I felt like I got almost 0 chicken. To end on a positive note, the servers were fantastic.

Great local place to grab a beer and some grub. Ordered a Cesar salad with smoked chicken on top and did not disappoint. Also recommend the cheese curds. My son loved his avocado sandwich. Previously had their pizza for lunch which was good but a bit greasy. Dog Friendly too!

Visited patio pizza and barbecue in Roanoke for lunch on a Sunday. The place didn’t seem to be too busy. There were enough people in there to make it seem populated and we did not have to wait and the service was good. We tried a couple appetizers: fried green beans and cheese curds. The cheese curds were good but were made from mozzarella cheese which is not my favorite. Seems kind of a lazy way to make cheese curds and they’re tough to chew. After a few minutes. The fried green beans were unique experience. They had a good flavor and the breading was more of a cornmeal vibe than a regular fried batter. I enjoyed the green beans more than the cheese curds.
We each got a different pizza or sandwich and I enjoyed what I ordered. I wouldn’t say the food stood out or was particular flavorful but I tried a couple of different options for my gluten-free half and half specialty pizza. I tried the brisket, chili dog Pizza and the Bacon cheeseburger pizza. The chili dog pizza had a unique flavor and was an interesting choice. I didn’t think the bacon cheeseburger pizza really stood out flavor wise. Another person at our party got The grinder sub. I actually thought this had amazing flavor. The variety of peppers and onions that were included with the sandwich gave it a great flavor. The nachos also seemed to be very good. I enjoyed the pulled pork and would consider getting that dish if I visited the patio again. I enjoyed this much more than the pizzas that I ordered. If I end up going back I would probably try the brisket sandwich or a couple more pizzas and I would definitely get the fried green beans again.

Second time visiting and had a great time! Ordered cheese curds, two grinders with fries, and one cocktail. Everything came out super fast, I don’t think we spent more than 45 minutes there from the time we walked in to the time we left. We’ve had their pizza before and loved it, so thought we’d try something new this time. I did not regret it, but my boyfriend did say he preferred the pizza to the sandwich he ordered tonight. Waitress was as attentive as she needed to be, food was fresh and fast, and food was super tasty! Bill was about $43, which was pretty reasonable. Only concerns we had were brought to our attention about half way through eating – and it involved the practices in the kitchen. I’m no health inspector, but seeing the young staff handling food with no gloves and no hair nets (one had their hair secured back, but it was still medium length) was a bit of a concern for us. Multiple had headphones that they were playing with, one was using their cellphone between touching food items, and many we could see eating food in between making meals or serving others in the restaurant. It just made us a bit unsettled after we noticed it and couldn’t ignore it after that. It makes me thankful you can watch what they’re doing back there, but, as a customer, you shouldn’t have to sit there watching your food be prepared in concerning conditions.

Well, not my favorite pizza, but this meat was pretty good. Beans were great and the garlic bread was pretty tasty too.
Prices were what you would expect. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Good, local family kind of service 🙂

“The Patio” in Roanoke is a hidden gem that I highly recommend! Every restaurant has its staples, and here are three must-try items:
1. Fried Green Beans
2. Cheese Curds
3. The Full Deck Pizza
To top it all off, their chocolate chip ice cream dessert was the perfect finishing touch!
Beyond the fantastic food, the service was exceptional. Lily C. went above and beyond with her positive attitude and extensive knowledge of the menu, making my first dining experience truly memorable. I can assure you this won’t be my last visit!
