Very tasty food, hidden gem. Kinda people, and very affordable food on their special $1 taco days. Days vary so call in and ask before ordering, it’s not everyday. But the flavor profile is better than most sit in spots in Humboldt. Would come back and would recommend to others too.

Patinos is the physical embodiment of having the best, heartiest, most affordable, and highest quality Mexican food in all of Eureka, all of Humboldt if you ask me. Been coming here for years either once a week or once every two weeks because I can never stay away for too long. As a vegan, they still have lots of options and will accommodate your order if you’d like edits. Gaby, in particular, is almost always my point of contact there, and she and her family consistently provide top tier service and are always so nice. Lifetime customer for sure. Please give them a try.

Taco meat was okay. Not bad, not great. Tortilla was not mushy so I didn’t have to rush to eat. Glad to get lime and radishes. The price was all worth it though. Tuesday $1 tacos! Location is good. The last or first restaurant you see in south Eureka. Staff is nice and is conscious of food allergies. Love that they have a buzzer for when the food is ready so I can sit in my car while the weather is bad.
Update: They are using paper togo containers now!!

This place was pretty busy. They give you a buzzer so you can wait in your car for it. It was one of the $1 taco days so I tried the asada, shredded beef and shredded chicken! All were tasty and for a buck you get a lot of food!

Time I came here. I’d never been high and I asked about a dessert that was on the menu. Because I’d never heard of it before and being of half Hispanic descent. I thought that was odd and the owner without my knowledge made me one for free. And this is after having fired the. Oil backup on the deep fryer because it was already after the closing. Basically, when I came to order so they fed me after hours they still fired up there. The defire invalidated have to end. The guy kicked in a free dessert. Where can you get that kind of service anymore? Especially around here in Humboldt County. I don’t know of a place and I bet you don’t either. You’re missing out if you don’t come to Pationos EVERYDAY you are anywhere near it “ON MY MOMMA”

When my sister came to town, she was looking for a good place to eat at so we chose this location.
Apparently, my cousin has been eating food there for a long time and he said it’s never been a disappointment.
I was excited to find out that they had lingua as an option for my Tacos so I made sure that I got lingua , shredded chicken & sometimes I get the Asada.
I appreciate them making sure to having plenty of limes and radishes to garnish on top…

Solid Mexican food for the area and basically the last stop out of Eureka heading south. Dollar tacos on 2-3 days of the week and they are solid. Never skimp on the meats and the limes are juicy. It’s a busy spot for a reason – it’s popular!
