Most racist establishment I’ve ever walked into.
As soon as I stepped inside, the entire place went silent and the energy shifted. I’m Hispanic and my husband is from this area, yet I was treated like I didn’t belong. My “thank yous” were ignored, the appetizers were overcooked, and the waitress showed a complete lack of basic etiquette. And no it wasnt me just overreacting because we stayed at the blackforest and there hospitality and atmosphere was night and day from this place.

For anyone who is a person of color — beware of this place.
They proudly claim to have been around for 103 years & unfortunately the attitudes here feel just as outdated. Ignorance and poor service seem to be the tradition they’re preserving.

Just a reminder: this country belongs to all of us, not just people who look a certain way.
It’s sad that as an Army veteran I was made to feel unwelcome.
Do better.

Very laid back, friendly place with good, reasonably priced menu. Nice place to eat and a scenic drive.

Only issue with me is I drink White Russians and they don’t carry milk unless a cream soup will be made.
So why carry Kahlua? I doubt any many put it in coffee or drink Black Russians?

For the past 20 years or so, I have been making my annual trek to Cherry Springs State Park/Coudersport. I drive past Pat Reeder’s every single time but I have never stopped by. This year I finally decided to stop by and now that I did, I regret that I never stopped here to begin with.

This place is an absolute gem and might very well be one of central Pennsylvania’s best kept secrets. It’s small, relatively tucked away and quiet. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The wings are amazing (go for the hot Buffalo)! I would be remiss if I didn’t extend a final thanks to the gentleman (9/7/2024) who allowed me to have one of his wings that got me hooked.

I wish Pat’s was much closer, but that’s part of the lure of the place. I’ll look forward to going there from here on out. Very cozy, quiet, tucked away, great atmosphere and great food. This place has been in operation for over 100 years for a reason.

Thanks again to the staff! I’m hooked and I’ll be back whenever I am able!

I stopped in for a beer, the atmosphere wasn’t the best, but it was a very nice-looking place and the service was great. I’ll have to stop again and try the food.

This has been our go-to bar/restaurant for years when going up to our camp. Our trip isn’t complete without going to Pat Reeders! A hidden gem on-top of Hyner Mountain with cozy outdoorish atmosphere, cold beers, amazing food, one of the best hot wings, and friendly fantastic service. When you come to Pat Reeders, you feel like family. Love this place!
