Dan runs a great restaurant for lunch. Best pastrami and also beef sandwiches in the east. You better get your pastrami in the next two years, though, because he is threatening to retire. We are going to miss Dan and his sandwiches and restaurant. A must place to visit while in Naples.

After reading the reviews, I’m just happy I didn’t see anyone compare this place to Katz or anything in NYC. I love pastrami so I figured I’d give it a try. The service was very friendly,the atmosphere pretty blah. That didn’t matter to me. But I shelled out $25 for a pastrami sandwich. No drink no fries. All I got was a side of Cole slaw and Russian dressing bc I asked for it “NY style “. The pastrami is crazy cheap and skimpy. It looks like it’s shaved. I paid NY pastrami prices for an Arby’s roast beef sandwich. Anyone who can compare this to NY should be tar and feathered. I gave it 3 bc the lady was friendly and the sandwich tasted “ok” . I’m going online tonight and ordering 2 lbs of pastrami from Katz.

My hubby, daughter and I came here before visiting the Naples zoo. This is the hidden gem of Naples!! Of course, you must get the pastrami sandwich on Rye when you visit! It’s scrumptious. Only downside is that it’s cash only. Worth it for the mouth watering sandwich. So glad we found Pastrami Dans!
