Great breakfast. The Western omelette is very good. Their has browns are good. I also enjoy their lunch and dinner. It’s a great little local place to eat run by good people. At Christmas time the Grinch even visited our table.

Not authentic Mexican, closer to Tex Mex. La comida sin chiste. This was our plate when we left, salsa tastes like pure pizza sauce and comino.
For better food try antojitos izcalli where they have real Mexican food

Hidden gem in the small town of Northport, AL. Just across the Black Warrior River north of Tuscaloosa. If you are in town and searching for a good breakfast, it’s worth the few extra minutes of drive time. The breakfast menu is extensive, and the food fresh and delicious. The lunch/dinner menu will not disappoint either! Living in Northport, it’s one of our go-to spots.

Was in the area on a Friday in summer and wanted to have breakfast in a local place, i.e., not a chain restaurant. Service was great, and the food was delicious. Had the veggie omelette with a side of ham, avocado, and wheat toast and coffee. Everything was very good. Was hoping to practice my Spanish, but no Spanish-speakers were present.

This was the first place we went to when we were visiting my in-laws. this was a great spot. If I remember right the Mexican restaurant and a gift store next door are actually run to generate revenue for Missions in Africa Asia and India. One of the pictures is a little hard to read but it’s the story of this pastor. He was from Mexico he lost his mom his dad he had nothing and he made it to the US. He was not a Christian at the time and at one point in Alabama and he was contemplating suicide. He had heard about God but never really thought he was real and he decided before he committed suicide why not give it a shot so he prayed to God and he heard an answer. Wow.

Anyway the food was good. It’s authentic Mexican because it’s made by someone who used to live in Mexico. I’d go back when we visit. And my wife wants to visit the gift shop again. But it’s for a good cause…

Don’t let the outside fool you. It was overall a great experience. The server was very personable. The food was tasty and hit the spot. Great prices. I even thought it was cool that they had Christian music playing. I’d only ever heard that at Chick-Fil-A.

This restaurant is a true authentic Hispanic restaurant that offers amazing food and great service!

Abides by code regulations and handicap accessible. Friendly family environment for young children, adults and seniors. The food is amazing and the pizzas are made just like the dishes such as alambre pizza, BBQ pizza, and Supreme pizza.

Highly recommend it to others!
