TLDR: Solid, no frills Italian hoagies with a killer Friday deal. Fast service, tasty subs and a great little market to browse while you wait.

I have been to both the Towson and Rosedale locations of Pastore’s Italian Market for lunch and have always been happy with my hoagies. While there are technically better hoagies to be found in the area, the Rosedale location more than makes up for it on Fridays by offering their Italian Cold Cut for just $5.99. For what you get, it is an outstanding value.

The “Pastore” Italian Cold Cut comes loaded with Genoa salami, capicollo, prosciuttini, mortadella and provolone, dressed with olive oil and wine vinegar, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, onions, hots, olives and a blend of grated cheeses. It is made fresh, nicely balanced and the perfect size for lunch. Nothing fancy, just a very satisfying, well built hoagie that hits the spot.

Beyond the sandwiches, the market itself is worth a look. They carry a great selection of pasta, house made sauces and desserts, making it easy to grab dinner ingredients or a sweet treat on the way out.

Service is quick and efficient, with subs typically ready in five to ten minutes, which makes this an ideal lunch stop when time is tight. If you are in the area on a Friday, that $5.99 Italian is one of the best lunch deals around.

I had a craving for a deli sandwich after birding Hart-Miller Island and found this little deli a short drive away. I asked the woman at the counter to make me a sandwich. She made me a salami and cheese sandwich with the works. I got some Amish potato salad too. She was very friendly and got the sandwich made super fast. Both it and the potato salad were yummy. And the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this place for a quick yummy deli sandwich.

Happen to be there to pick up a large order and everybody was so pleasant. It was my first time visiting but everything looked fresh and clean and good. True Italian deli. Customer service was exceptional And everything tasted and looked so good. We placed our order online and I got a text message saying it was ready within 30 minutes.

To begin with, it is spotlessly clean.
The food is hot and fresh, and my husband had the heel of a crusty italian bread with 5 meatballs and tasty sauce in it, out of this world delicious.
I had the Italian cheesesteak with provolone, amazing flavor. Add to this made to order French fries, loved everything.

We stopped here based on the reviews and weren’t disappointed. We had a panini, the meatball heel, and a slice of Smith Island cake. The food is authentic, delicious, and prepared to order. They have frozen meatballs, stuffed shells, pizza, etc from the kitchen to take home if you want. The dining area is nothing special but the food is absolutely worth a special trip.

I’ve been seeing this restaurant for years whenever I drive in the area, so I decided to give them a try for a work event. The overall consensus was Good, not excellent, and not fair. The pros, delivery driver was exceptional, he called twice to verify the location and was 15 minutes early which I loved! A few of my colleagues ordered the junior subs and 3, including myself ordered salads and chicken ceasar salad and the Italian salad. The cons, wish they had more vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options, especially seeing that a lot of ppl these dats having stricter dietary needs. The consensus is, they wish the sandwiches had more meat and the salads were a little bit bigger, but I understand it was lunch boxes lol. And I’m sure if we ordered the same from the restaurant, just as a regular order it would definitely be fuller.

The SANDWICH MAKER immediately got “busy” when I walked in. Had to ask “is this where I order” in order to get serviced. So, the guy made my sandwich. But when the big burly man from the mountains of Caucasia walks up…she, with her BACK to us magically senses him and ushers a “how can I help you” to him. these people.
The older gentleman that rang me up offered a loyalty card…no need sir, my money won’t come back here. I immediately stopped 2 other patrons that look like me when I was outside. Naw, we good on this place.
Even if it’s generally a good establishment, the energy of the EMPLOYEES will immediately ruin it for the establishment that has a problem with ALL customers.
Imagine that…a SANDWICH MAKER not wanting to service a customer who’s money is green.
