The food and service were really good. If you have never been there before and you open the door, it looks like you are stepping into your grandparents’ kitchen with a little chaos, then someone tells you to sit where you want and to look at the specials on the wall. The dishes are just home cooking and not fancy but have good flavor and prices. Their daily special are especially a great value. You should give them a try. This is a breakfast lunch only restaurant. Check the hours. Enjoy!

What an atmosphere! Country home cooking doesn’t get much better than this and it is all served in a layed back, eating at mama’s table atmosphere. While it is not a buffet, it is priced well with decent portions. They have daily specials that offer more than the menu. The sides offered with the regular dinner options are limited to salad, baked potatoes, or vegetables offered with the special. Over all, this place was great. The Pig decor is amazing!

Decided to try this local gem for breakfast. We ordered a Western omelet, and a sausage & cheese omelet that both came with toast & grits. Plus two pancakes to share, coffee & a plain ice tea. It was a pleasant surprise because the staff was friendly & the food was good, down home cooking. Reminded me of visiting a relative’s home, especially with all the cute & kitschy pig themed knickknacks. Grits & streak-o-lean are basics in this grill, just to give you an idea. My husband & I will definitely come back. Plus the bill only came to a total of $19, which is nice!

My husband and I went here for lunch today after hearing good things. However, we had an awful experience. We waited 20 mins for someone to even acknowledge us and bring us menus. After waiting another 15 mins the only waitress working came over to take our food and drink order. She couldn’t have been more rude and had an attitude with us and it seemed like we were bothering her by just placing our order. About 15 mins later the bus boy came over and asked what our drinks were and finally gave them to us. While we were waiting for our food several tables got up to leave without even placing an order or ended up asking for it to go. After waiting an hour for the food we finally decided to leave as we both needed to get back to work and could not continue to wait. Magically our food was ready when we asked for it to go. I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken sandwich was literally a frozen ground chicken patty. Honestly a McChicken would’ve been better and cheaper. I wasn’t expecting much when I walked in but I was expecting better food and service than we received. There are so many better food options in Barnesville and regret coming here and wasting time and money on this place. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Food was excellent staff were amazing considering the waitress was a volunteer due to staff shortages! This was our first time there after seating us she explained she isn’t a waitress but would do her best and she did better then some skilled waitresses, however; they had a board with specials listed after reading I’d the board and looking at us blankly we asked for a menu which she did get for us but besides the drink choices the food choices were what was “on the board”ONLY they were out of most everything! We decided to stay and try something from the board it was amazing and we’d definitely try again! But perhaps when they do have more options!

Couple of weeks ago, 2 wonderful friends decided to take me to lunch. We went there and quite honestly, I was not expecting the meal to be worth the parking. I was very pleasantly surprised. Wonderful Philly, service and atmosphere out the ying-yang… Will be returning…

Great food; great prices. People work there are always friendly. Laugh every time that woman answer the phone ‘Passtiiiiiime!’ Love the beef tips and rice, and the prime rib and catfish. They sweet tea can’t be beat. Somebody tell me how they do it like that. Many good memories there as a kid and still making em with my kids.
