We ordered takeout and the food to price ratio is insane. Feels like we got robbed worse than the Lourve and I’ve literally had cheaper fine dining truffle pasta AT the Lourve.
The lasagna is a huge portion and I appreciated the bechamel. It wasn’t very savory, pretty dry, but the noodles were good. We got ricotta truffle pasta w / pesto and only got 5 pieces. It was a little more than 4$ per piece. However, the dish was tasty just insanely overpriced.

This restaurant has such amazing vibes. You can feel the love in the food. The staff is so sweet and the food is phenomenal. To have a taste of authentic Italian cuisine in Jersey is such a blessing. I had the pesto gnocchi and it keeps me up at night with how much I continuously crave it. Also do not sleep on the pastries. Their apricot tart was one of the best deserts I’ve had the perfect balance of tart and sweetness.

So yummy! We came for our reservation on Valentine’s Day and they even gave us a complimentary pastry and gave all the couples roses! The pasta was delicious and the perfect serving size too.

Visited on a Friday with my daughter. I was a bit nervous because some reviewers said the portions are too small. Luckily this wasn’t the case. Started with a pear salad to prime our stomachs for the pastas. I had the cacio pepe and it was a good size for sure. My daughter really enjoyed the gnocchi. We both got desserts – I highly recommend the fig tart. By 630pm, there was a wait for a table as it is pretty small.

I tend to think anyone who gives this place less than 5 stars has terrible taste. We’ve been looking forever for a place like this, and have not been able to find it even at much higher prices. Finally a high quality Italy restaurant.

I’ve eaten twice at this restaurant and once ordered for pick up, all in the space of one week. This is how much we liked the food! The pasta is perfectly al dente and the sauces are fresh and exquisitely seasoned with no pretense, as if home cooked. We love the idea of being able to choose sauces and types of pasta separately because it increases the number of choices and so one never gets bored by the menu! What a wonderful idea! The food is authentic and the Italian owner seems to take pride in it. Princeton Shopping Center needs more restaurants like this for it to become vibrant and attractive to the Princetonians and their neighbors.

We recently hosted a Sweet 16 party here, and it couldn’t have been a better experience! From the very beginning, Francesca (the owner and chef) made everything so easy. She personally helped us plan the menu and was so accommodating with all of our requests — it really took the stress out of planning.
The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was fresh and full of flavor, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing everything was.
The staff was just as wonderful. Everyone was polite, attentive, and genuinely kind. Our party ended up going past the restaurant’s closing time, but the team was so patient and gracious, never making us feel rushed.
We’re so grateful to Francesca and her staff for helping make this celebration so special. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone — whether you’re planning an event or just going out for a great meal. Our family will definitely be back soon!

Very authentic Italian food with good quality of ingredients and a nice departure from the typical Italian-American options that are more prevalent around this area. They have delicious focaccia and a liguria sandwich that is fantastic. Try the tagliatelli combined with mussels and peccorino.

An afternoon of culinary delight! My husband, daughter and I stopped into Pastiamo and ordered the meatball antispasti to start – the sauce tasted just like me grandma’s! Then we had the smoked salmon focaccia sandwich followed by fresh Tagliatelle pasta in a butter sage sauce. We ended with a latte and double espresso. service was incredible too! Sara was knowledgeable, kind, and very attentive. We will definitely be back!
