Pastaza has impressed me with how fresh their ingredients are. The sauces, the pasta, pizza dough, are always so flavorful! This food is made with so much love and care. I haven’t taken any friends or family here that haven’t absolutely loved it. It’s the best Italian food you can get in the area. ❤️

Best pizza spot in trophy club! nice little hidden gem that I stumbled into since moving to trophy club and glad I did. Haven’t had Pizza this good since I visited Italy! even my picky daughters loved it. And the calamari was a very pleasant surprise will definitely be coming back for more and to try to rest of the menu.

Fast casual fine dining. The music is soft, smooth jazz. The decor is perfect. The food… Simple. Elegant. Complex flavors. Clean ingredients. Bread is baked onsite. The service was impeccable. It’s a family owned business. I will be back time and again. And I will recommend it to everyone who is even remotely in the area. Quite simply the best Italian food I’ve had in the metroplex.

Amazing pizza! You can really taste the difference in quality. The risotto balls are also incredible. The ingredients taste fresh and like they put care into their food. Best red sauce I’ve had in a while. I keep recommending this place to everyone I know.

My family of 4 dined in for dinner. We order 3 total pasta dishes (kids split fettuccine Alfredo with meatballs, no other toppings) and a very bland boring Caesar salad, and it was $58 before tip. My shrimp was so overcooked and rubbery. My kids loved their pasta though, and they each got a huge yummy meatball. Definitely a fast food atmosphere, so it should have fast food prices, in my opinion.

Absolutely the very best in every way!
The pizza crust and sauces are so flavorful, the pasta tastes like homemade. The restaurant is simple but immaculate!
This is our first choice hands down.

Update 2/14/26:
Came for dinner with the family. It’s VDay but we guessed it wouldn’t be busy and it really wasn’t. 4 tables in the place with diners including ours. There were a couple takeout orders also pending.
Even like that, the food took twice as long to come out for everyone.we noticed tables with half their orders and a couple would be eating while others waited. You’d have thought they were slammed and had a long line.
They ran out of fresh bread too. I ate as slow as I could but after 15 min kind of gave up on the bread. Too bad, my wife said hers was great.

Great Italian bites made fresh and fast.
I ordered the margherita pizza as is, and it was so tasty.
The Cesar Salad dressing is made in house. You can taste the anchovy in the dressing. Not in a bad way as far as I was concerned. Just clear this wasn’t store bought dressing.

The pizza crust is more on the crispy side, so you won’t get that NY Style flop when you lift a slice. The flavor of the sauce and the quality of the mozzarella was just perfect. EVOO and Parmesan drizzled on top of it.
Also ordered the spaghetti with meatballs. Portion wasn’t giant, which was great. There were two meatballs the size of tennis balls. The dish was served with a thick slice of homemade bread.
The food was easily fine dining Italian quality but in a much more casual local.
It seems to be family operated, and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
I’m excited to have this within 10 min of me so I can try more of their menu.

Easy the best Italian I’ve had in recent memory. Got my order wrong 3 times but the food was so good I didn’t really mind. Humble atmosphere. Don’t go here for a quiet conversation, but likely your mouth will be full so it won’t matter anyway!

RUN, don’t walk, to Pastaza! This is the closet thing we have tasted to an authentic Italian pizza in DFW. This clean, spacious, and chill pasta and pizza spot will absolutely be added to our rotation. And to top it off they have all beef ravioli! Thanks so much for a fantastic experience Pastaza – we’ll be back

The only words that left my mouth after the first bite was “Wow”. The quality ingredients and attention to detail made each dish exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy authentic Italian food in a simple, yet comfortable atmosphere. The service was excellent. The pizza was baked fresh and the Cacio e pepe risotto was delicious!
