Beth, our waitress, was wonderful and very kind. Even though she was having a tough day because of some rude old customers, she still did a fantastic job with us and was very attentive. The portions of food were generous, and everything was absolutely delicious! The prices were also very reasonable. We definitely look forward to coming back again!

This spot delivers everything you want from a true Italian comfort kitchen. The servings are incredibly generous and every minute of waiting pays off once the food hits the table. Service moves quickly and the staff makes you feel genuinely welcome. You leave feeling full, happy, and completely satisfied. If you enjoy hearty Italian meals done right, this place will absolutely win you over.

I can’t say enough about how AMAZING this restaurant is!! I’ve been coming here for 24 years and I have never had a single complaint! The food is fresh and delicious, the portions are huge. (You will definitely have left overs!!) the employees are all very good at their jobs! So kind and considerate and many of them have become my friends! I have celebrated many birthdays, they accommodated a surprise anniversary dinner for us once. Catered a meal after a funeral, we’ve sent trays of pasta to friends. Ordered food for holiday.. you name it and I could go on and on about how incredible this place truly is. Not only great delicious food but quality ingredients and quality people!!! Truly a gem and one of my favorite places!!! I love Pasta too!!!

Family-Friendly Spot with Generous Portions

This place truly lives up to the “family restaurant” name — it has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for dining out with family or friends. The portion sizes are definitely generous, so come hungry or plan to share!

While the pasta was a bit overcooked for my taste, the sauce was flavorful and fresh. The fried octopus stood out — nicely done and very fresh. Service was attentive and pleasant throughout our visit.

If you’re planning to go around 6 PM, I’d recommend making a reservation in advance, as it can get busy during peak hours.

Pasta Too

GOOD – A winner because it hits all three keys for success – taste, quantity and price

BAD – Nothing I can recall – if you don’t come hungry, you could regret it (in a good way)

With my 50% Italian roots, Iam very picky and discerning over Italian food. Who would have thought that some of best Italian I’ve had (short of Mom’s cooking) in the last 10 years would be in the Pittsburgh Burbs. It’s true, Pasta Too rose to the occasion.

All my dishes were excellent. The creative stuffed breadsticks eat like giant Italian egg rolls. The spinach and cheese was divine.

My gnocchi with vodka sauce was wonderful. The pasta was fork tender and the sauce, savory.

The hummingbird cake (coconut and banana) was HUGE, densely moist and delicious. The slice could feed three people.

My server was very nice and patient given the busy floor. Price is fair – not because it’s cheap, it’s moderate but the portions are SO BIG you leave with 2 or 3 more meals and that’s where the price comes down.

If you are in the Pittsburgh area and enjoy Italian, this place is a MUST.

Would be 5 stars if not for the ice box temperature of the dining room. Multiple tables overheard complaining in addition to ours.

Food was very good with generous portions.

The food is incredible. We always look forward towards the food. The service was poor, after the food got delivered, the waitress disappeared, we had to ask the hostess for her. I ordered a carrot cake slice to go. Big mistake. When you get it in the restaurant it’s big, when you get it to go, it’s always small. When you pay $8.99 you expect more. I wish I could post a picture of it.

Accidentally found this gem of a restaurant. From the minute we entered, we were greeted, sat immediately, and our server was already taking our drink order.

The atmosphere was amazing!
Fall decor inside and out.

The food was made to perfection. We had the Fettuccine Alfredo and Shrimp Scampi. The portions sizes were plenty.
The prices were higher but worth it.

Our server was friendly but a bit slow in refilling our drinks or checking back in with us.

I highly recommend this restaurant.

Pasta Too is your classic family Italian place. The portions are huge and worth the wait. Fast speedy service with a smile. If your not satisfied when you leave then your simply not human. Be prepared to be stuffed with the best food you ever tasted.

Had late lunch/early dinner on a Friday. The parking lot was very full, slightly difficult to find parking. Both meat and cheese ravioli are very good, sauce for the pasta was very good as well. The only bad thing about the ravioli was they were barely warm.
The sauce for the ravioli tasted homemade. The pasta for the ravioli was good, I didn’t taste like previously frozen ravioli, I don’t think it was homemade (honestly did not check) either way they were good and didn’t taste frozen!
The ravioli was a side that I got with the crab stuffed shrimp.. I believe other than the crab cakes it is the most expensive on the menu, it was not horrible however, I would not order it again. The shrimp were very large and lump crab stuffing wasn’t bad, the shrimp didn’t taste fresh at all and were slightly overdone. One of the shrimp had a strange taste.. not like it had gone bad though, just a not shrimp taste. The salad was not great, next time I will try one of the soups instead. Overall service was great, even though the parking lot was completely full we only had to wait about 5 minutes to get a table. I will definitely give it a second try but will stick with their pasta for sure.
