My now husband and I went here for our first real date night after we first met, 8 years ago. LOVED IT! Thursday nights is their Prime Rib special and we just went tonight to celebrate our first official anniversary after getting married last year! Off and on over the years we’ve been between TX and Pittsburgh and after having been gone so long, tonight was like reliving a memory. Food was still amazing, service was good, and the classic 15-20min wait (they’re so good there’s usually a wait any day of the week in the evening). Waiting isn’t bad because their outside area has several seating options. Parking can be hit and miss on availability. Also, tonight we tried their special carrot cake cheesecake and it was phenomenal! Though we drove an hour almost to get there, it is definitely worth it and I tell everyone about it that I talk about restaurants with! 10/10 ⭐️

Delicious. A bit fancier than a casual outing. Yummy bread w dipping oil as an appetizer. Overall delicious. The vodka sauce was amazing.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Pittsburgh and one of the top in the South Hills region. Pasta Too treats you like family with friendly service and large servings of Italian classics. On our recent visit we had the chicken parm with spaghetti marinara and chicken romano with angel hair with vodka sauce. Pasta Too’s vodka sauce is my fave. Trust me you will leave here with a full belly and leftovers for the next day. Be aware though, Pasta Too can get very busy especially on weekends so be prepared to wait. But it is very worth the wait.

One of my mother’s favorites a few years ago, so I stopped in on my recent visit to Pittsburgh. Their dipping oil and bread are still good, as is their Ranch Dressing (although you now have to pay extra for a salad). After waiting quite a while for the server (a surly Holly), I ordered the Spaghetti with meat sauce. I received a plate with a one pound box of pasta and a scant cup of sauce. For $14.95. Not including the salad. Very disappointing. They need to do better and train their staff on proper customer service.

Have eaten here twice, and each time left full, and satisfied. They serve rather large portions. Their bread dip, which is I believe Olive oil infused with garlic, red peppers and likely some other secret wonderful ingredients is AWESOME, even when taken home, refrigerated and eaten 4 days later 🙂 we asked for some ‘to go’. LoL

Great appetizers and dessert. We had the stuffed peppers, tiramisu and apple caramel with ice cream. All very tasty. The pasta sauce (marinara) was not the best. Didn’t care for the bread dipping sauce either. The lasagna was also very good.

We order takeout often and have never been disappointed. Our last order consisted of two Italian hoagies one steak hoagie, two chicken salads, and a family tray of Ziti w/marinara sauce. The pasta was over cooked and barely had any sauce. The picture shows how much was wasted. I’m not sure if that’s a regular occurrence but I would suggest everything but the pasta (to-go).

Jackie’s the best! If you come here, ask for her. She wrote her name on the table (covered by paper), saying “it makes the manager happy”, as a very interesting touch, and I’m sure their other servers do this. Not to mention, they box the food for you. We spent twice as much at the last place we’d been to that does this.

Main dishes are always excellent, and service is always good. Salads and appetizers are excellent. The iced tea is excellent. The fresh Italian bread is very good, I like the light, crunchy crust. We live an hour away and like to go a few times a year. It’s worth it. Dining typically takes 90 min to 2 hours.
