What can I say? I eat out approximately 320 days per year because of work. This hidden treasure is nestled in small town middle America waiting to wow YOU. This was a most amazing meal. One of the top 3 restaurants I have visited in my entire life in America. The top Italian restaurant in our nation by a mile. Our server, I’m having a difficult time remembering her name, was 100% on point. She was incredibly busy and incredibly attentive to all of her customers. I will have to call and ask her name because she deserves credit, as well. If you want an experience that leaves you wanting more then this is the place. Just a meal, date night, birthdays, celebrations of all kinds, this is a premier venue. We had 3 people at our table and ordered at least 7 different dishes from pasta standards to ribeye steak. The soups were, bar none, the best I have ever had at any restaurant anywhere. All made from scratch. Everything was prepared to perfection and the place was packed. So this is their standard of performance. I understand this facility is run by three brothers. Fantastic job creating and managing this prime example of what any kind of restaurant should be. We will definitely be back for more. I don’t say this often but I love this restaurant.

There food is always amazing! Everything here is cooked great. The staff are so sweet and everyone seems so happy and content. This place is my favorite place to eat and always will be. There food is amazing. My favorite thing is there potato and broccoli soup with the bread, and chicken Alfredo. My top things Everytime I come here. So amazing! Great place! We stop by whenever we swing through town. The staff and atmosphere are great. The owner does rounds to chat with customers, and the food is always delicious with great portions! Bread knots are complimentary with each meal. The desserts always taste fresh.

I was pleasantly surprised by the good food here! I’m new to the area but last time I lived in Iowa I hated every place I dined out at leaving me with a “bad taste in my mouth” about food establishments in Iowa. I’m a cook at home and I often find myself saying “I could’ve made that better at home for less money” but at pasta bella the food is well seasoned and tasty. I ordered the white clam linguine and there was a generous amount of clam in it and they were not over cooked or tough and the portion of food made 2.5 meals for me. The prices are very fair. I love their food so much! It’s worth the hour-twenty minute drive! Their expansive menu has pasta, entrees, and pizza… not to mention the decadant desserts. The customer service was great, even on a busy night. I love when the owner stopped by to check on tables, it added to the family restaurant vibe.

Best Italian food around!!! I’m almost always impressed when I eat here. The fresh bread with real butter, the big selection of amazing entrees, a huge wine list and plenty of dessert menu options make for a great eating experience. The waiters are always great and professional. The serving sizes are always big enough for two or even three meals so it’s a great value when you look at it that way. And lastly, I’m in love with their tiramisu. I’ve had it other places but theirs is the real deal, so delicious!

The food is excellent, the service is excellent, the ambiance is in stark contrast to those two things. It reminds me of a glorified “Dennys” or “taco house” when they need to be more like “The Café ” or “Dublin Bay” in Ames. At least that’s my thinking. I want to thoroughly enjoy the food I drove an hour to enjoy in peace with relaxing, romantic surroundings. The food is that good!!
