This was a place we tripped across and happy we did. We introduced ourselves to JD the proprietor and operator bartender and cook. The salmon and especially the ribeye steak were cooked perfectly. One of Cantons hidden gems. Clean and well taken care of and cared for.

Total mixed feelings…
I visited this place twice in one weekend. The first night was also my first time ever being inside of this establishment. I must say, I was immediately impressed. (Maybe more so surprised) Very, very nice, clean, and altogether laid back atmosphere. Band – Burpo and The Boys was GREAT!
Upon reading the menu, I was extremely excited to order because everything looked delicious. The waitress also highly praised the food. We ordered crab cakes, lamb chop tenderloins, and “honey” fried chicken. The lamb was charred (to put it nicely), but had good flavor. Although VERY tasty – there didn’t seem to be a honey element to the chicken at all. Crab cakes were flaky, but tasty. I asked for a remoulade, or something to dip or eat with them. DENIED!
The second night we were there, my husband & I ordered a T-Bone steak (medium well)…it was overcooked and dry. When we asked for A1 or any other steak sauce…DENIED! The other couple we were with weren’t pleased with their (frozen/microwaveable) mashed potatoes, or their t-bone & prime rib. The owner(or manager)/cook did come over to ask us how our food was. When we answered with honesty…he was very rude and basically scolded us for ordering the steak Medium Well. After he said what he had to say, he very rudely shuffled away, while I was still talking. That interaction left the worse taste in my mouth.
I may go in for a drink again, but I’ll be sure to eat first…

Great food and entertainment! Very clean. Friendly people. We had steak, green beans with almonds were amazing. Home fries are cooked in real butter which is hard to find. I only like them well done and they were perfect. Dessert was great as well. Classy! A hidden gem near downtown Canton!!!

Food what’s good. The service was completely rude. We asked for two steaks one medium and one medium well the owner refused to make the medium well steak which resulted in a purchase of a $13chicken tender dinner instead of a $25.00 steak dinner. When we walked in we were the only ones there. The owner seemed friendly talked about how hard to keep help and how covid hurt his business. Everything went South when we ordered the steaks. That was complete rudeness towards my girl. I should have got up and walked out then. I’m sorry that I didn’t. I will never go there again.

A hidden gem. The food is fantastic. I was with a party of 6 and every dish looked amazing and everyone liked each dish. The steaks were seared to perfection. The fish tender, and liver and onions very, very good! This place is highly recommended.

Great service!!! Great food!!! JD has created a great environment. I’m from Texas so when I travel to Ohio, I have to visit his place. Honey fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, fried mushrooms. DELICIOUS!
Oh, and yes, he makes the ABSOLUTELY BEST, Long Island Ice teas!!

When we got to the restaurant we were greeted by a guy at the door that told us that there was a $2 cover charge which we did not pay. The were 10 of us and the place only had 4 people that were eating dinner we sat ourselves and we waited for someone to come to our table. We later found out there was no server. One person in our group volunteered to make drinks for our group. The owner never came over to apologize or anything. Never ever go to this place it is horrible.

I have been to Passion Blues a few times. I love the relaxing environment. It is a great place to relax and listen to blues or jazz. I have taken coworkers from work/friends and they enjoyed themselves as much as I have. The steak is amazing. Even if you are looking for something as an appetizer and a few drinks, a couple of hours away from everyday life, this is an awesome choice. Closest establishment I can find in comparison to the Firehouse Blues in Indiana!

This is a little gem and little Old Canton Ohio!!! Found it on Google and it turned out to be one of the coolest Blues bars I’ve been to in the area. Everybody there was friendly management went out of their way to make you comfortable so she when they found out I was from out of town! Did not eat there but the food smelled and looked delicious with generous portions and you can’t beat the cost of the beers and drinks. The security there is like a private club… they have to buzz you in

The owner and staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Delicious food, tasty drinks, and lively musicians. It is a safe and clean venue for sure. I strongly recommend this place to any hungry, thirsty, and music loving individual!
