This restaurant should be renamed as Passage to Garbage. We went there to eat the buffet but almost all the items were terrible. The tandoori chicken is raw and we complained about it. They replaced it and the replacement was even more raw that it has blood coming out from it. The chicken biryani has so much oil in it. The veg fried rice has no salt or spices in it. There are fish curry, chicken curry and goat curry. All the curries mixed with so much water and so liquidy. Fish curry has so much oil floating on it and the fish meat was smelling so bad I almost puked. Overall worst experience ever and I’d recommend not going here.

Stopped by in the evening for chicken masala. The food was tasty, and the people were incredibly kind. Loved that they offered my favorite Indian tea for free while waiting.

The restaurant is really good with affordable prices. I have been here for a buffet. The Hallem was so amazing just felt like eating near charminar hyderabad. Also panner tikka masala, mutton curry and tandoori were amazing

I have been a loyal customer of Happy’s and while service and ambiance was average, he had the Best Chicken Tikka Masala Sauce!! The Chicken Tikka Masala was savory and not sweet like most Indian restaurants. I visited tonight for the first time under the new management and while they said they used same recipes, they do not!! While it somewhat tasted the same, it now has a sweet after taste. Less chicken and sauce was not as thick.
Please follow Happy’s recipe and remove the sweetness to the chicken tikka masala!! It was soo unique. I may have to find another place that has no sweetness to the sauce. Happy, if you see this, send me the recipe! Erik

Heard about this place from an acquaintance, went to check it out. Got some haleem, owners are from Hyderabad, they just took over the place. It truly is Hyderabadi flavors. I am fasting so have not tried it yet, but my parents tried it and said it was delicious. Want to try authentic. Hyderabadi food visit them, they have many other Hyderabadi delicacies. And they have weekend ramdan buffet as well, so maybe stop by and check them out. Will definitely go back again, insha allah. Maybe after ramdan. And the owners are very kind, and helpful. And the food is halal, alhamdullilah.

Absolutely delicious. I had the Andhra curry with goat and hot seasoning. Perfect, tender goat with an excellent spice level. My friend got the chicken jalfrezi which was also delicious, along with garlic naan and samosa. Delicious, I went here a few years back the the food is just as good if not better now.

The worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The food was completely flavorless, and the presentation left much to be desired. As for the service—if you can even call it that—there was only one waiter, who kept disappearing into the kitchen, leaving us waiting endlessly for basic requests. The restroom situation was the cherry on top: the smell was unbearable, worse than a portable toilet. Honestly, I’m shocked this place is still in business.

Wow! The food here is absolutely amazing. With the new management, everything feels upgraded — from the flavors to the overall ambience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. I genuinely loved the entire experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
