We enjoyed the stunning view of Tacloban and the beautiful San Juanico Bridge from Pasqualino’s Ristorante Italiano—it truly enhances the overall experience. The restaurant looks great both inside and out, with its own quality and class. It is clean, comfortable, and inviting, making it a pleasant place to spend time. Service is a bit slow and could benefit from further training, and the food may need some review to better reflect authentic Italian flavors. The prices, however, are reasonable and reflect the overall experience. Whether you are visiting solo, as a couple, or with your family, this place is suitable for everyone. It’s a good spot to relax, enjoy the view, and have a casual meal in a comfortable setting. Overall, Pasqualino’s offers a memorable atmosphere even if some small improvements in service and cuisine could make it even better.

My wife and I visited on our anniversary. The staff were very nice and the ambiance was nice. Clean. The view was very beautiful. While there we saw the wife of the owner. She was pointing out to the staff things that needed to be cleaned. Soon she had 3 or 4 of the waitstaff cleaning windows and tables outside. She directed 2 of them to pick dead leaves from a potted plant on the patio. I asked one of the waitstaff if that was the owner and she said yes, but with a grimace on her face like she was mean. The owner (wife) didn’t look happy at all about anything. She didn’t want to interact with the customers or be the slightest bit engaging with HER customers. Almost to the point of being rude without the engagement. She needs to learn how to be engaging and happy to see customers come into her establishment. She shouldn’t wear a face that scares her customers or employees. We would eat there again but only if we would be in the area. Won’t go out of our way to visit just because of her. I gave 3 stars for atmosphere just because of the owner.

The service was not good. Took us ten minutes to catch someone to ask to be seated then felt like 20 more minutes to be seated. To be fair there only seemed to be three persons serving and taking orders and they had quite a few people there. So I’ll say it’s a staffing issue.

Most things were not available. No pasta at a Italian restaurant. Only rice available as a side. The food was okay.

I recommend the place for a nice far view with the San juanico bridge in the distance and it also has a very big pool.

After a long drive coming from Guian, Eastern Samar this place is the perfect stop for a late lunch before our flight back to Manila. The place is very open, with a great view of the San Juanico Bridge. Service was fast, food tasted great, tenderloin steak was tasty and tender, and the pasta was awesome! Can’t wait to go back!

Great food and a stunning view, but the service was disappointing. We had to call the servers multiple times before getting what we needed, and the bill took too long to process. At one point, it also felt like we were being rushed to leave. It was also a bit odd that a server took the pepper from our table without asking, because another table needed it- that was rude.

Lost count of how many times I visited the place. Decent food with beautiful views. Last visit I experienced terrible service. Waited a long time to be noticed, longer time to get the bill. I’m giving it 3 stars because they can still turn things around. If I may suggest, make time to train the staff (clearly define stations, job description, and task), and hire more wait staff during busy season(even on call).

Pasqualino’s Italian Restaurant in Sta. Rita, Samar has a very good view of San Juanico Bridge. It was this very reason that we opted to hire a car from Tacloban to cross the bridge despite knowing photo taking on the bridge which used to be ok was no longer possible.

The restaurant did not disappoint! Aside from the very nice view, the interior is fab! Their lounge is very beautiful and speaks of old money taste. Even the rest room has paintings!

We were not so hungry so we only ordered pizza and carbonara. Pizza was very good but the carbonara was not much to my liking.

The place is good for special occasions as it also has a swimming pool and is large enough to accommodate a large crowd.

Beautiful place just after San Juanico bridge towards Samar. They have a beautiful brickoven for their pizza – and the owner who is Italian is very hands on. Also recommend to go for laps in the pool, then get a pizza afterwards 🙂

Absolutely beautiful place, The food was above average for the Philippines, but nothing special. The service staff were ok but not great. It’s expensive for what you get.

Spectacular view on top of an island. Owned by an Italian who found a beautiful wife in the Philippines. My photos will speak for the view. We crossed the 2nd longest bridge in Asia which connected the two islands. The pizza was authentic and excellent.
