I can’t recommend the garlic bread (just mostly greasy and not a great garlic flavor or good bready texture), but I did get it to go and maybe it’s better fresh and not after being wrapped in tin foil.
The side salad is romaine and chopped fresh tomato with your choice of dressing.
Service was good.
Unfortunately, the evening fell well below expectations.
Our server was polite, but when asked about the wine selection, she was unable to provide any details about what was being served as well as I’ll informed on the menus she even stated she was “16 and didn’t know what she was doing” . I don’t blame the Young server. It’s not her fault..
In a restaurant that advertises itself as fine dining, staff should be knowledgeable about the menu and wine offerings.
The food itself was disappointing. The Alfredo sauce tasted canned rather than freshly prepared, and the shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. I ordered the chicken Parmesan, expecting fresh chicken cutlets. Instead, the dish appeared to be made with frozen chicken patties, and the sauce was extremely watery.
Overall, the quality of the food did not align with the restaurant’s fine dining branding. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works toward improving both food quality and staff training.
There was not host at the stand when we came in but we saw a couple people in the bar area so that’s where we sat.
We waited a few minutes for a bartender – she said she was changing shifts from being in the dining room to the bar but was pleasant and helpful. We orders drinks and dinner – salmon and the penne with chicken. Both came with side salads which were good. Mine had a little too much dressing on it but it was good so I just dipped the bread in it. I think the bread was dusted with everything bagel seasoning but I’m not 100% sure. It was definitely seasoned.
Our meals were good. The vegetables that came with my salmon were very good and her was plenty to share. The penne was a big portion too and we could have taken half to go but we were traveling so we didn’t. Our bar neighbor recommended the chocolate cake for dessert. We did ask if they make the desserts in house but they do not. We took a piece of the cake to go. It was ok. Not the best I ever had but not the worst.
The atmosphere was casual and quiet in the bar anyway. Prices were good. Parking was easy.
Our server, Isaac, was a great waiter. He was efficient, helpful with suggestions, and all-around a nice person.
My bf had the classic lasagna with a meatball and a salad. He said it was delicious but the portions were so large, he took some home.
I had the orange rough with veggies, and a salad with the house Italian dressing! Excellent on every count. The fish was cooked to perfection, the squash was delightfully grilled, and i absolutely love that house salad. That alone is worth a trip.
What a wonderful start for the New Year. We will continue to patronize this wonderful restaurant in ’26.
We walked over from our nearby hotel (which was convenient)
Arrived around 5:30 on a Monday in early March 2025.
We were seated right away (lots of seating, including a nice looking patio outdoors for better weather).
We each had a Yeungling beer and shared a large (16″) pizza (the Pasquale special looked great but my friend wanted to make a custom pizza). It was mushroom & ham and very good. See photos! Bill was about $35 (Mar 2025)
