I ordered the Paseo Sandwich with fries, and I have to say, it’s the best Caribbean sandwich I’ve ever had. It easily outperforms many sandwich shops in Washington. The roast pork was juicy and paired perfectly with the caramelized onions and jalapeños. The fries were slightly crispy, and when combined with the sauce, they were amazing.
My only complaint is that the sandwich had a bit too much juice from the roast pork. It’s definitely something you’d want to eat at the restaurant, because the bread can get soggy if you wait too long.

Paseo is an explosion of flavor!! Sabrosísimo! Every dish we tried was flavorful, juicy, tender, and just perfect! The marinate in their meats is rich in latin spices. Their fries are perfectly seasoned. The serving size is the perfect amount… not too much, not too little, just hits the spot. The Latin music and vibe of Paseo made me feel like I was on a tropical vacation. The employees were very kind and friendly! We peeked at other’s plates and the nachos looked to die for!! Can’t wait to come back, we’re definitely adding them to our favorite’s list

Portions are so good! Worth every penny. The meats are well marinated but not too saucy or over flavored at all. I was expecting bold and salty but it was a good surprise it tasted healthier than I expected!
The store was very clean and well kept. The bathroom was spacious and clean too! Service was quick and polite. I would definitely come back!

– delicious charred corn on the cob –
I went there on wed. night around 6pm and there was one group dining. Another group showed up when I left, so this location is definitely more chill than the other ones. I got the famous corn on the cob and I also ordered the churros.
The whole store has tons of plant decorations, but I noticed they forgot to water some plants and they look super thirsty. It has a nice tropical vibe nevertheless. However, the chairs don’t look super comfortable to me.
I waited for 5-10 min for my order, and the corn was still delicious when I ate it at home since they wrapped it around with foil. You get two corns on the cob, and I was too full to eat both so I just had one. The sauce was a bit too heavy for me since I prefer food without sauce, but it does have a lot of flavor and the corn on the cob was also nicely charred at some parts (not all of it).
The churros were also delicious, they also provided either the chocolate sauce or the caramel sauce. I’d check this place out again, but it’s quite unlikely since my husband never craved for sandwiches.

The food is amazing at Paseo, so is the service! They let you configure the sandwiches as a lettuce wrap or on a bed of rice. The Happy Hour specials are incredible, as are the House Margaritas. Be forewarned, 5 and Fire spice levels aren’t jokes. Food is incredibly spicy at those levels, yet still full of flavor. I usually order my spice levels around 3 and I love spicy food. Habanero is a staple ingredient for their spices – and they’re one of the very few places I have found that actually do it flavorfully – very flavorfully!

Update: I stopped by today and got the Carribean bowl with pork and the dish was so bad I wanted my money back! The pork was sweet and it just didn’t meld right with the rice and beans, plus the chips were stale and tasteless!! I was in shock!! Awful just awful! Very different from my initial experience. The customer service was nice though and they do sell alcohol!
Original review: I just came across this little sandwich shop a few days ago but this place has more than sandwiches, there’s plate options and ALCOHOLIC drinks-never seen that at a sandwich spot lol! This shop is clean, had great customer service, had some holiday decor which I liked and has a public bathroom. I ordered The sandwich Cordon Azul and it was so delicious!!! The garlic aioli set it off! It was flavorful, fully packed with juicy chicken thighs, ham and cheese, The slices of caramelized onions were very large which I liked! I will definitely be going back to try other sandwiches.

I had the Caribbean Roast, a wet sandwich, and yet the bun was still firm on the outside and held everything together.
My son had the Chicken Breast sandwich. He loved it!
The bread was fresh, the meat was generous, the flavor was savory, the condiments were sweet. So much goodness!
The facility is meh, but it’s in a strip mall. Honestly, don’t go to the ambience, go for the food!
