I can see why this restaurant is in almost every dining guide, including the Washington Post and NY Times as one of the best restaurants in DC. I was really impressed with the service and food. We dined on a Saturday evening. There is plenty of street parking close to the restaurant. The cocktail menu is pretty good and I enjoyed my two cocktails, especially their Cadillac Margarita.

A must is their guacamole, this was a great way to start your meal. I love all the sauces and creama that accompany this. It Is so good. Guacamole was so creamy. We also got the Chayote Salad and Kampachi Crudo. The Kampachi Crudo had a good spice on it. The Chayote Salad was good, but tasted like an Asian dish-lol. We weren’t a big fan of the Squash Infladita dish.

For our main dish we shared the Smoked half chicken which was great! And let me tell you the Fried Rice is like crack, it is cooked in chicken fat which makes it so tasty!! Can’t stop eating it! Chicken was so juicy and tender. They provide sauce and tortillas. We also got a side of their Oaxacan Ayocote Beans. I made my own taco with chicken, rice and beans.

Dinner for two with four cocktails was about $320 with tip, so it can get pricey if you order drinks and such. I wish I lived closer as I would come back here frequently.

An incredible experience! I started with the tuna tartare (see photo) which was amazing. The parsnip and chayote appetizers were really good too. The lobster and chorizo entree was good but not my favorite. A Huuuuge shout out to Camilla at the bar for steering me in the right direction!

I almost didn’t want to post this review or Pascaul out of fear that it will be impossible to get a table, but the good people at Pascaul deserve ALL their flowers! Easily the best nice spot for tacos in town. Will be returning!

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. We had the best and most romantic dinner. The staff is amazing and the ambiance is great.

Came in with high expectations and left disappointed. The al pastor taco was flat and forgettable, the bread was soggy and ruined the texture of everything, and the rice was dry with zero flavor. The lamb was the one saving grace — genuinely good. But the rest of the meal and the atmosphere? Pretty average for the price. Won’t be rushing back.

A tiny restaurant with a big personality! A refined and fresh take on Mexican food from a top tier chef.

Don’t skip the guac service, it’s incredible. The menu is very seasonal so recommendations are hard but every bite was outstanding. Basically go with a group of 4 and just order the whole menu.

The room happened to be filled with restaurant industry the night we went from James Beard award winners to industry leaders in both food and beverage. Always a great sign to see the culinary community supporting their colleagues.

Came with high expectations after watching YouTube videos on how their food was prepared. It was easy to get reservation through Resy. There’s an automatic 20% service charge applied (we were a group of 3 diners)

The highlight was the homemade tortilla, salsa spread was delightful but server kept wanting to clear them off the table. Unfortunately the half chicken didn’t live up to the hype, but still juicy & good, just not smokey at all.

Indoor has great vibe, outdoor is beautiful on a nice day but it was a really warm day when we came and there were a lottt of bug/flies the entire time. Some went into the food too extra protein i guess!

The wait time between menus can be improved. We were waiting for ~ 15 mins apart for each meal, i think this can definitely be improved with more staffs/ operations efficiency.

Overall great dining experience in DC!

This was our first time at Pascual, and we went with friends who had been before. We decided to sample almost everything on the menu, sharing each dish around the table, and not a single plate disappointed. Every dish was packed with flavor, perfectly portioned, and beautifully presented. The staff couldn’t have been kinder or more welcoming, adding to the wonderful experience. The drinks, though, were the real standout. Our group tried at least 5 different cocktails, and each one was a 10/10. Our favorite drink was the Verde y Verde, which has a green chile flavor. We’ll absolutely be back for the food, but the complexity and craftsmanship of every drink alone are worth a visit. The team at Pascual truly outdid themselves!

Very lovely experience at Pascual tonight. Three of us dining and trying many different plates, each of which was perfectly delicious. We truly enjoyed every dish. Their signature taco appetizer was excellent, we especially enjoyed all of the vegetarian appetizers. Fantastic dining. Highly recommend and we will return.

I was brought here by surprise for my birthday and we sat outside on a Saturday evening. Service was average in speed but friendly. I don’t know what I was expecting, but the ambiance was a lot better than I thought. There were mosquitoes biting as we sat outside, but we asked for mosquito spray and they surprisingly had some. The prices were rather high, but all the food was good. They also have a nice selection of non-alcoholic cocktails. My favorite was the margarita. While expensive, I do want to come back once more and sit inside. The whole fish we ordered came presented beautifully and was easy to make tacos with. Both desserts were tasty and the blue fin and lobster appetizers were tasty too.
