⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have ordered from this Iranian restaurant twice. The first time was really great, and the second time was more average, so it feels like the food quality can vary a bit.

This time we ordered Zereshk Polo with Chicken and the Three Skewer Kebab. The food was okay overall, but the three skewer kebab was better the last time we tried it.

My main suggestion would be to keep the quality consistent at the higher level, because when it is good, it is genuinely enjoyable. That said, the service was excellent. The staff were very polite, helpful, and professional, which made the experience pleasant.

We would still come back and hope to see the food quality kept at its best.

If you’re Persian or looking for a great Persian restaurant experience, this is the BEST place for an authentic, delicious and mouthwatering cuisine! The Koobideh (meat skewer) was packed full of flavour, the Jojeh (chicken skewer) was tender and juicy both had the smokey char-grill flavour that we love. The rice-well let’s just say it was impeccable! I’ve been here a few times over the past couple of years and it has always delivered delicious food in a warm and inviting atmosphere with Persian decor you can be proud of, especially when bringing your friends. This restaurant is family friendly, very clean amenities with extremely polite, kind and accommodating waiters and waitress that constantly check on your table to see if anything else is needed. Well done Pasargad, Merci and dastet dard nakooneh!

We tried the Gheimeh and Mumtaz kebab, and both were absolutely delicious — well made and very true to authentic Persian flavours. The kebabs were perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavour, clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and happy to help, which made the experience even better. The restaurant itself is well maintained and tidy, creating a comfortable dining environment.

Highly recommend Pasargad if you’re looking for authentic Persian food and great service. We’ll definitely be back.

Pasargad is an unassuming restaurant hidden on the second floor next to a corner pub. The zereshk polo ba morg (slow cooked chicken with barberry rice) was a little sweet for me but the rest of the food was delicious and I especially adored the tart and nutty fesenjan.

Service was welcoming and helpful. It was pretty quiet when we visited though so ambience was a bit muted, but overall, we enjoyed the experience. Not sure if the food is considered authentic but I thought it was tasty and would return.

I forgot to take a picture of our special plate with the koobideh. The koobideh was THE BEST I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried a lot of Koobideh. Usually I’d rate Nikan the best, but the koobideh here beats Nikan even. The rest of the meat, such as the chicken and beef, weren’t as good. It wasn’t bad, but just not my favourite. I will definitely be back for the koobideh, wow!!

Tried Pasargad for lunch. Ordered kobideh and barg with rice. Meat quality was good, however felt the combination was a bit too dry. An accompaniment like yohurt etc would’ve been better. Overall decent experience. Halal options available.

Great Persian food and great service.
We came for dinner for the first time and found the restaurant to be semi hidden upstairs. The signage is not distinctive making this place kind of a hidden gem.
We tried the koobideh and chicken and found the portions were great and the quality of the food was fantastic.
The staff made the dining experience great as they were super helpful and friendly for all our needs.
Will be back to try more
