The fish is so delicious, I didn’t even need tater sauce. I normally use lots of tater sauce, when eating fish, but this fish didn’t even need it, because it was so fresh, and good. It didn’t have a “fishy” taste at all. The slaw is delicious! Most places have “sweet” slaw. This slaw tasted like real homemade slaw. I recommend the sweet potato fries. They aren’t on the menu, but ask for them. Put some butter on them, and they are so delicious! The only thing to remember is ….they only serve fish on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!

Had lunch here 10/01/2017 had the BBQ beef plate with baked beans and Brunswick stew. After tax and tip my lunch came to 15 bucks and some change. The beef was ok it was chopped very fine, the BBQ sauce vinegar based, it was pretty good. The beef was a bit dry and tasted more oven cooked than smoker cooked. The baked beans,were good and the stew was pretty descent. The service was ok although my drink glass never really got refilled. Overall it was not bad the service could have been better.

We had 2 fish plates and a pork potato. The fish servings were on the small side, the hush puppies were not done on the inside, but better than the over salty ones we had the past two times. Nothing taste as good as times earlier in the summer. Won’t be patronizing again anytime soon.

Locations to eat in Lineville are few. Partner’s has a real opportunity to stand out, but it does not. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is clean (which is nice). But the food is bland and – as a southerner – I am embarrassed to describe it as southern style food. We recently had the pork bar-b-que plate with two sides. Although the restaurant’s name is Pit Barbeque, there was nothing ‘pit’ about the meat and ‘barbeque’ had apparently left the building some time ago. The pork was barely warm and tasted as if it had been cooked in a “crock-pot”. The bbq sauce was a tasteless, thin, red sauce (and refrigerator cold to boot). The slaw seemed straight from a can.
