We loved Parrot Island so much that we decided to visit twice during our stay! From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was inviting, and the staff made us feel right at home. My husband was absolutely over the moon with the fresh fish selection. Each dish was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor, which made it hard for him to choose just one!
One standout dish was the bacon cream filet mignon, and let me tell you, it is to die for! Normally, I struggle to finish an entire filet, but this one was so delicious that I found myself savoring every bite without any trouble at all. The sides were equally impressive; we indulged in the loaded baked potato and loaded mashed potatoes, and they were beyond good—generous portions and packed with flavor!
To top off our dining experience, my husband couldn’t resist trying the key lime pie. It was refreshing and the perfect ending to our meal. The entire experience was exceptional, and we truly appreciated the quality of food and the warm service. If you’re looking for a delightful dining experience, I highly recommend Parrot Island. We can’t wait to come back for more delicious food on our next trip!

Get a rum bucket! Food was good, fried pickles were good and the aioli was nice, hush puppies were flavorful and not overly dry, magi magi fish tenders were kid and the kid liked the popcorn shrimp, server was nice and friendly and the atmosphere was laid back until a large birthday party showed up and they immediately brought the ruckus, but that did not ruin our meal.

This place has a nice beach vibe inside and outside. The food was pretty good, but the service was horrendous. We could never find the waitress. The kitchen took over half an hour to make our three entrées. It wasn’t that busy when we went. My husband said the clam chowder was delicious. The crabcakes had a lot of crab meat in them. The pulled pork sandwich was very good. The hush puppies were a little hard, but still good. The burger was cooked as ordered.

Food was terrible. When we told server there was no apology or offer to make it right. Server did not come to our table after taking our order until it was time to bring the check. We had the chicken wrap the chicken was shredded canned chicken, waiter said no it was shredded by the kitchen but it was total mush. We also had Mahi tacos beans and rice the rice was not cooked thoroughly. We both also got sick after eating there Would not recommend.

We were so glad we picked this restaurant today! We are not from the area so this is a rare visit and the food was excellent. I got the fried Catfish and I loved it! Hubby got the burger and he loved it too. We felt like it was worth the trip. Fries are the good kind lol everything came out fast and our server Suzie was fast and friendly, would recommend there are a lot of things on the menu. Lots of parking. Bar outside and inside. Booths, tables. Murals were cool.

The appetizer ahi nachos were absolutely top-notch and I would recommend them to anyone who was going to eat dinner here. That being said we then ordered prime rib and both of us got it medium rare and when it came out it looks like a piece of shoe leather and I don’t say that lightly because it was so overdone it was actually curling up at the edges. This was it about 7:00 at night so they were nowhere near being done with service , we then asked for a replacement and what came out was better but nowhere near medium rare. One person in our group ordered a ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is great kind of like a little beach bar vibe the service was impeccable but the prime rib was a huge letdown for the price not to mention it was my birthday and this was a place that was recommended to us and I didn’t really get the birthday meal that I wanted. This place was recommended to Us by a friend that lives here and I don’t know if we just hit it on and off night or what but it was Friday and there was plenty of people there but the meal was just disappointing.

We had a very bad experience last night. We paid a hundred dollars for two people for very bad service and food. We weren’t checked on once after bringing us the food. The conch fritters had pieces in them that would break your teeth off. The food had no seasoning and the fish made us both sick. I am never one to complain but wanted to warn people about this one!
