I hesitate to tell you about my spot. On University but you could blink and miss this adorable restaurant and patio hidden under the trees. Gorgeous full bar with excellent margaritas and more. Perfect chips and excellent salsa as soon as you sit down.
You can’t go wrong with any of the menu options but I love the home style soups here that you can’t get made with is kind of love, care, attention unless you are at you grandma’s house.
I had the ceviche tostada to start tonight. It’s worthwhile to pay the 2 bucks extra for pulpo.

Been driving by this location for years and finally stopped in. Super impressed. Food was amazing, great margaritas and staff was very friendly. Nice patio that is screened in and clean restaurant. Highly recommend, I will be back!

Was seated in 5 minutes. Server was so nice and attentive. Been waiting for years to finally find good menudo rojo in AZ and I’m so glad we found this place. It was delicious, Jamaica was on point also not sweet and very flavorful. Definitely worth the drive over here it was better than expected.

Went out to this place to try it out because of social media, with my daughters… Where do I start…
First off the chilaquiles that one of daughters ordered had more beans than the chilaquiles itself. The sauce was terrible, we’ve had better. My daughters appetite was pretty much ruined.
Then there’s the red and white menudo… The red menudo my other daughter had wasn’t even red, it was orange and didn’t taste like how red menudo is suppose to taste like. The white menudo I had, its hominy was undercooked and barely had any beef tripe. The menudos overall tasted like they were made in a rush.
Service as well was terrible. We understand they were busy, but we had to wait 10 minutes just for water and 5 more minutes for our server to even greet us and take our order. All of the servers, the exception of the hostess, had attitude and seemed to only tend to the locals/regulars.
This place was definitely over hyped on social media and would suggest if anyone tries this place to go at your own risk.

As much as I’d love to say we love eating here sadly today a new lady working the register shorted us change and apparently got the change from her purse so I’m worried how many other ppl have been shorted change since she started working there. What had happened was
I handed her $100 bill. She went to her purse, got change out of her purse. Put the $100 bill in her purse and gave me change. Never use the register.

Cute little restaurant! We have been driving by it for quite some time and the patio is always filled with people and the bright colors draw me in. The service is quick and the staff is friendly and happy! The food is amazing! I especially enjoyed the green chili sauce! Spicy but flavorful! My partner had the beef green chili burritos and a taco. He said they were good. The margaritas are flavorful and big! Definitely excited to go back and explore more on the menu!
