We ordered the Barkley & 4 Cheese Pizza, with an appetizer of Fried Ravioli. For the ravioli, it was crunchy and delicious. The marinara tasted homemade and was visually pleasing. The pizza sauce, for both pizzas, was tasty and all of it tasted fresh, homemade and flavorful- I loved the fresh mozzarella on the cheese pizza. The atmosphere was nice with a very cool artistic mural of the entirety of Brushy Mt. The “gift shop” area was cool with a selection of whiskey, moonshine and vodka. I bought a bottle of End of the Line, Scared Straight (110% proof) moonshine….. My review on that is not a story for the pizza place, but the distillery. I loved the added touch of having prison plates to eat off of… That made a nice touch to the whole experience.

We stopped in tonight with our parents from out of town. We had the fried ravioli which were delicious. We also ordered the Samsquatch pizza. It was very good. Our parents had a pineapple pizza they really enjoyed. Wish they had a better selection of beer but I’m sure that will improve as this is the off season. They do have a small selection. Lots of cool t shirts and all the end of the line moonshine. Definitely stop in. For our local friends, you can online order your pizza and take it home for dinner which is awesome. So glad to have a pizza option other then partners.

Nice inside, large and clean! Gave a 4 for the food.. went to try the pizza. It was just OK. I think the other menu items looked absolutely delicious. If I had known the pizza would be somewhat dry and bland I’d have ordered extra cheese and toppings. The pizza wasn’t all bad, the crust was delicious! The star of the show came when we decided to get their mozzarella bites. I wish I had just gotten an order for myself! I’m from the Midwest so I know good fried cheese I’d go back if in the area just not for pizza. Also I wouldn’t get right before church let’s out as we happened to. Started off ok, we got there right before the rush on Mothers day then staff seemed too busy for our needs to be met

Came up to visit family , first time coming to this restaurant and it was not a great experience. We listened to the cook say he had to chisel the chicken because it was to frozen. Our pizza was great, however the wings were inedible. We tried to talk to someone but no workers could be found – even walked up to the windows by the kitchen and no one. We wanted to buy a bottle of whiskey but once again no one could be found and we stood there for 10 minutes. So they lost that sale.

Great location in the midst of the beautiful mountains of East TN near Frozen Head State Park, and at the entrance to Brushy Mountain Prison, complete with nearby tours of the prison and a moonshine distillery.

Incredible Pizza, Great Atmosphere – Highly Recommend!
Parolee’s Pizza and Deli absolutely nailed it. We ordered one of their specialty pizzas and were seriously impressed. The crust was just right—crispy on the outside with a soft, chewy center. You can tell it’s made fresh and with real attention to detail.
The toppings were on point: creamy dollops of goat cheese, juicy cherry tomatoes, and flavorful meatballs all came together perfectly. Everything was well-balanced, and every bite was packed with flavor without being too heavy.
The place has a relaxed, friendly vibe, and the staff made us feel right at home. It’s the kind of spot you’ll want to come back to—whether for a casual night out or grabbing a few pies with friends.
