I was in town for work and had chicken parm from 3 restaurants, this is hands down the best chicken parm in Greenville (I had to get it twice). Johnny has created something truly special with ParmiJohnny. The chicken is perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and both the red sauce and the vodka sauce complement it beautifully. The garlic knots are warm, buttery, and absolutely a must‑try.
Johnny is a great guy running a great small business, and it shows. If you love incredible food made with care, this place must be at the top of your list.

ParmiJohnny is a order online and pickup type of place and the food is absolutely amazing. I ordered the Chicken Parm Alla Vodka, Meatballs, and Eggplant Parm. You can tell from the first bite that he puts a lot of love in the food. The chicken was pounded to the perfect thickness, seasoned, breaded and fried to perfection. The meatballs are definitely made by hand and are a great size. They are seasoned well. All the sauces in the dishes we ordered were very flavorful.
You definitely need to place an order and try this. Do like me and other people in the parking lot did and just eat in or outside the car. It was like a tailgate party out there today.

I was here on New Year’s Day, 2026 at about 9:00 pm. Johnny was working all by himself, cleaning and breaking down what needed to be done, without compromising attention to walk-ins. The food was ready in under 10 minutes, was hot, and perfectly seasoned. I’ve lived in Philly, Rhode Island, but am a Carolina native. This is easily my favorite experience with classical Italian American fare. I’ve had excellent and this is top tier. Chicken Parm was perfect. Meatballs were incredible. Penne was delicious. Ala vodka sauce was impossibly delicious. I’ll be back with family. This is the very best Italian food I can find in the area. Well done, Johnny. From a commissary kitchen behind a storage area, I thought I had made a mistake. The mistake would have been not trying this place. Incredible.

If you are like me, trying to find a place to eat on your overnight stay to Greenville, you will look this place, place an order, then drive past the place, assuming the GPS has led you astray. It hasn’t. But despite all of that, let me tell you, the food is worth it. I got the penne alfredo with fried chicken, my husband got the spaghetti and meatballs, and I don’t know when I’ll be coming back to Greenville, but this will be our first spot when I do. Y’all, this food is fantastic. You can tell from the first bite the chef has heart. You can taste the love in this food. You need to eat this food.

Johnny comes from a long family history of extremely successful Italian restaurant of 49 years down in Pembroke Pines South Florida that went by Umbertos, before his family retired, sold the business and moved to South Carolina
Todays grand opening menu will initially include:
Chicken Parm and Chicken-A-Vodka served over Spaghetti w/tradition Marinera
Eggplant Parm and Chicken Milanese w/ a Spaghetti Pesto
As well as homemade all beef meatballs.
I got to try all the dishes and this stuff is the real deal and I couldn’t think of any feedback if I wanted to. That chicken parm could easily feed me for 2 days, those portions are not skimpy.
Another truly hidden gem of the highest quality coming out of that “Hidden” Pizza Parcheggio kitchen that is not to be missed.

ParmiJohnny is definitely not one of your common Italian restaurants, primarily because it’s a, as one review coined it, “order online and pickup type of place.” I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, and I was honestly surprised at the good quality and taste I got out of it. The pricing was decent, and the cleanliness was great. I’ll definitely be back if I’ll ever be in the area. 4.9/5
