Great appetizers, especially mushroom toast, artichokes and broccolini. Their focaccia first gave us a glimpse of the dough as well – wow, especially dipped into the broccolini sauce.
The pizza with hot honey and their bolognese were highlights, as well as anything on their sandwich menu – that bread was wow!
Highly recommend.
This is another! Parma or (Parma Italian Roots) made each dinner twist and turn during the meal better than the one before.
Starting with the environment. This restaurant is in a shopping center but it feels like much more with the nice wall art and the walls that open to the outside and their patio area.
Server Kate was also tending the bar. She was attentive during the meal, nice and had a great sense of humor.
The gnocchi entree in traditional Pomodoro (red sauce) was excellent in taste and texture. I added the shrimp which was a great addition to the dish. An added serving of cold Burrata Italian cheese on the top of this piping hot dish was genius. The cheese slowly melted on the gnocchi so you could taste it throughout the meal. You can have the gnocchi with the Pomodoro or Alfredo or a creamy mix of both!
A request for bread to sop up the remaining red sauce, after the gnocchi was gone, also came with a surprise. It arrived lightly buttered and toasted! Perfect for making sure the kitchen didn’t have to wash much from my large pasta bowl! I suggest they serve this tasty surprise as a part of each entree, maybe near the end of the meal so it’s buttery and warm like ours.
The beef short ribs were also amazing! No need to use the meat knife offered when the dish arrived. These short ribs gave way to a gentle pull by your fork. They were melt in your mouth delicious! The side of crisp Brussels sprouts also surprised by how flavorful, fluffy and light they were in the mouth.
The cocktails were flavorful, though a little too much ice for our liking.
For dessert, the butter cake and the raspberry sorbet made for a great ending to the meal.
Parma earned a future repeat visit from us!
Brian and Chef Andre. My first time here and I think the place is very nice, I love the atmosphere and Brian was awesome, thank you for taking such good care of me. I didn’t hang out too long but I did get a chance to have their creamy tomato soup and it was delicious. My husband loves meatballs. I will bring him here another time.
I WOULD RECOMMEND
Penne Vodka was definitely our favorite part of our meal. The Cavatelli was pretty good, only the sauce was very rich with the ricotta and pesto.
Dining room very comfortable-beautifully designed. The patio has plenty of seating and large windows that makes the patio seating almost feel part of the dining room. ☀️
I would definitely return to try some cocktails! The bar offers many unique liquors. Peep the photos for yummy food!
I really wanted to like this place based on the google reviews, but I should have done more research as 12 of the 17 reviews are from folks who have reviewed less than 5 places and some have only reviewed this place. The good news: the staff is wonderful: friendly and accommodating. The place is nicely curated with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. The wine list is very good and the cocktails are also good. The octopus appetizer is on par with some of the best around. The stuffed squash blossoms are very light and tasty. The bad news: the pizza is just OK – the dough needs more chew, perhaps adding some olive oil and salt will make it chewy and taste better. Being wood-fired it should have had more char. The bucatini pasta was overcooked and mushy – not al dente at all. I also did not care for the sauce as it was more of thick paste. Same too for the gnocchi which is a shame because they were actually very tasty. I am hoping that they improve, because I really like the staff and the menu. Just need to improve a bit more.
