Great family restaurant and ice cream shop! They have soft serve and regular ice cream. The flavors are very good. The portions are big and at a good price. You get your moneys worth. The food is good and the mine has a lot of options. Everyone should be able to find something on the menu they like. The place clean, plenty of tables and well lit.

We made a road trip for getting our oil changed, stopping by the hubbies parents graves and then stopping for something to eat at the diner. Walking in we noticed it was very clean, and were greeted with a friendly hello. After looking over the many interesting flavors of ice cream and reading the menu on the wall we decided to split a tenderloin, french fries and keg root beer. Finishing our mid afternoon lunch we decided we just had to have a scoop of ice cream. The hubby had the Eskimo Kisses. I was able to try a bite of the Peppermint. It was pretty tasty, but I ended up with the Cookie Jar ice cream. The food was cooked to perfection and served to us at our table in no time. We were served a good sized scoop of ice cream and loved every bite. We will definitely be back!

Parlor on Main is a pleasant surprise in sleepy Central City. The other place we wanted to go was closed so we walked down the road 30 seconds. Parlor serves typical chill and grill fare, with an emphasis on their smash burgers.
The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered the burger, Reuben, and chicken strips. It was hot as yummy, nothing to complain about. The fries on the side were great as well.
They have a soft serve machine, but the real treat is their selection of hard scoop ice cream. They have lots of unique flavors that rotate frequently. We got three different flavors and a large root beer float.
Prices are super reasonable and you get large portions. Service was excellent. It’s a small and popular place so be prepared to wait a bit longer for your order. Highly recommend if you live near, passing through, or camping nearby.

Happened to be in the area for business so we stopped to eat a bite before leaving, was very pleasantly surprised! The burgers were excellent and we’ll definitely be returning. The service was great, the person working the counter was very pleasant.

We were in town camping and tried this spot out. Great small town restaurant. My son’s new favorite food is the taco fries. Great ice cream and employees were very friendly and had fast service while also having fresh food. Definitely will be back next time we are camping in the area

These people have the Best Burgers and Ice Cream in Central City, if not in all of Linn county. I Love the taste and flavor of their Patty Melt, the cheese is Melted right, like a grilled cheese.
