The rating of this place said 4.something. I think not. None of my food was seasoned at all. Hash browns are soggy and hard mixed. Can’t even call this so called sausage anything. Not smoked . Not at all to my standards. I was better off going to McDonald’s or something. No good. Concord needs cooking lessons. Also they need not to seem so racist towards black customers. I can take my hard earned money elsewhere to an establishment that doesn’t treat me like I don’t exist. But I will post this on social media.

Another delicious home cooked meal here. They have a huge selection of different items on their menu. The staff is very friendly and they take care of you. Our server checked on us every few minutes and made sure everything was the way we wanted. They have several specials each day on the menu. I would recommend them to anyone in the area looking for delicious food.

First, I want to compliment our server, Zay. He was the most attentive, respectful and well mannered young man I have ever encountered in a restaurant environment. The best service we have ever received. He literally made our experience amazing! I love a good for the soul meal! The homemade from scratch country style steak and chicken and dumplings was absolutely delicious & the fried squash was a great choice! We came from Mooresville to see the Speedway lights and this is the second year stopping at Parkway House beforehand. Looks like we’ve made a new tradition. Zay, if you are reading this I want you to know we truly enjoyed our time there and it is because of you! I can tell you are going to do amazing things in life! Keep it up and stay awesome kid!

I passed by this restaurant many times before I decided to try it. I got the Chicken Teriyaki with Collard greens and Peaches. The chicken teriyaki was okay I definitely had better. The pineapple on was good. The collard greens were good. The peaches were to me the best thing on the meal. Next time I am going to check the reviews to find out what is the best thing to order. Everyone in there was friendly the prices are decent I paid about $15.00 for my meal which is average.

We absolutely loved the Parkway House Family Restaurant! It’s a wonderful local spot with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and some of the best breakfast around. The food was delicious every single time… so good, in fact, that we went three times during our vacation in Concord!
Mallory was our waitress, and she made each visit even better. She was fun, friendly, and gave fantastic service that made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a great local place with amazing food and even better people, Parkway House is definitely the place to go!

We went late after a race due to the variety of dishes on menu. They have something for everyone -even the pickiest eaters. We all enjoyed our meals but I do wish they had baked sweet potato, fried zucchini/squash on menu but that’s my preference. My son did order spaghetti with meatballs & the meatballs were forgotten and server did bring one out. They were getting ready to close as we showed up about 8:10pm & they close at 9pm although on Google it says 9:30pm.
We will be back as their beef tips were really good and the Cajun pasta. The fried fish was good but a little greasier than I was expecting but decent. The small fish portion was more than what I expected & I’ll still try it again.
Service: the server and other employees were very nice. We recently moved to NC for my son’s career in Motorsports and this place has been asking the way on many shopping trips -and close to #CharlotteMotorSpeedway

I have had nothing but good experiences with Parkway House. Their menu has quite the variety, and it’s all been tasty, and in large portions. The staff is always friendly and conversational, and I just get nice fuzzy feelings being at a local family diner.
If you live around here or you’re just passing through, I recommend stopping by for a meal.
They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I really have no complaints. (The prices are getting a little higher than I’d like, but…eh. Could be worse.)

I was greeted genuinely as I walked in the door and promptly guided to a seat.
Within 2 minutes I had a cup of Joe in front of me and 10 minutes later I had two eggs (cooked to perfection/medium as requested), 1 good size biscuit smothered with sausage gravy, and 2 puck sausages for $7.95! My mission was to eat breakfast. That’s exactly what I did.
Give them a try!
