1st time visit, WILL NOT be the last! The food was delicious, hot, not super greasy, and did not take long at all to come from the kitchen. I could tell it was all cooked fresh to order, especially the potatoes as they were super crispy on the outside, but the perfect doneness on the inside.
I highly recommend the bacon and cheddar pancakes. I was thinking it was going to taste weird with cheese cooked inside a pancake, but they found the perfect balance! It was so good! I would come back just for those!
Staff were very friendly, made multiple rounds to make sure everything was cooked to my satisfaction, and just generally very friendly.
I had what I think was the second best seat in the house, but only because the first was taken when I arrived. Had it not been for a dreary, gray, and cool November day, the view would have been very pretty!
I was there around 11:30 am, but they serve breakfast/brunch until 3 pm every day. So, my next visit will be for supper so I can try something different!
I love supporting local small businesses, and cannot wait for my return visit! 10/10 I highly recommend, and suggest you check it out for yourself!!!

I stopped by Parkway Diner and ordered the kimchi, noodles & eggs, plus the special of the day—single pancake as an extra side. Everything was delicious, and I love that they serve breakfast all day.
A special shout-out to Jenna, our server, who was absolutely great and very attentive throughout the meal. Her friendly attitude made the experience even better.

Following a suggestion from a friend who traveled to Louisville, we stopped in for the shrimp and grits on our way to our hotel from the airport, and it did not disappoint. The mushrooms and bacon added a nice complexity to the dish. We also had the Greek salad, which has a bright yet subtle sherry vinaigrette. They offer an excellent value and a relaxed ambiance. Parkway Diner will be one of our Louisville go-tos.

Unique taste, reminds me of food my grandparents made me. 100% will return based on experience. On our second visit we had French Toast, they only have a limited supply and I highly recommend it!

Waitress was so nice! We had a breakfast, I had eggs Benedict with spinach. Eggs poached perfectly! Sauce was this light gravy, not hollandaise just perfect. My friend had corn beef hash. The cornbeef was the real deal. Seasoned perfectly! We decided to go back for lunch, I had shrimp and grits, my friend had chicken and dumplings. OMG is was heaven! Dumplings were light but filling. Total comfort food at its best!!

Tried the gluten free pancakes. They are amazing. Wouldn’t know they were GF by tasting them. They also have house made sausage patties. This is a small neighborhood diner, full of charm and great service. Their menu also had several vegan options as well for breakfast and lunch.

Very appreciative for the gluten free selections for those in our group. We ordered the GF pancakes, brisket, and pulled pork. The sauce could have gluten in it because of the soy sauce so we left that off, and the meat was so good it did not need a sauce. It was moist and had such good flavor. One person had the fish and chips and said it was amazing. Sara was attentive and frequently checked on us. We are from out of town and this was a great find. We will remember it and come back next time we are in town.
