Park Stone Wood Kitchen is a great spot all around. The venue is inviting and comfortable, with a vibe that works whether you are there for a casual nusiness meal or meeting friends. The menu has a nicely varied selection, so everyone can find something that works.
The real standout is the wood-fired grill. The food has that unmistakable wood-fired flavor that you cannot fake, done right and not overthought. Add to that a huge selection of beers on tap, and you have a place that makes choosing just one a real challenge.
Solid food, great beer options, and a venue that makes you want to hang out longer than planned. I will definitely be back.

Great location. I wanted some place was not s chain and this was great. I ordered the BBQ chicken, subbed the corn for Thai coleslaw- I don’t eat corn if I can help it, and the red mashed potato. The Pinot wine was great. Chicken was beaten so thin- maybe a thicker would hold more moisture. The BBQ is what made it moist. The potatoes were also a little dried out, I added a dab of butter and that helped. The Thai slaw, was so good. Not what I expected but very happy with that. The cornbread was also dry, until I reached to the middle of the slice. I like my cornbread sweet and the honey it was served with added the right amount of sweetness.
All in all, not bad. Just needs some tweaking and it will be so good. Staff was friendly and attentive.

My wife and I went here this evening for the first time and everything was the best. Our server Emily was fantastic and was totally understanding because we had our one year old with us. I got the chicken fried steak with corn bread and corn on the cob and it was to die for. We both said to ourselves that we want to come back. And the drinks! They were great too. I got the cucumber style drink and my wife got the salty pear martini! We had a wonderful time!

Came in to have a quick lunch and ordered the Trio Tip sandwich and a side of cornbread. The steak sandwich was good but nothing spectacular. Cajun fries were good but the cornbread was dry as if it was sitting out too long. Good atmosphere to have lunch with family or friends.

After 3 long days on the road I couldn’t have asked for a better welcome-to-Portland-meal. What comes off as a seemingly normal restaurant near an airport, was anything but. The service provided by Carlos was better than service I’ve received in a fancy restaurant in Bend the night before. I ordered the ribeye med-rare and was skeptical, I asked my usual question “do they tend to overcook or undercook here”, so that I may know how to order mine. Carlos very confidently stated it will be cooked as ordered. Well he was right! I cut the steak in half and thought it was too rare but the mouth feel temp was correct, they cook to temp. The steak was just such high quality and dark it’s been a while since I’ve had such a steak. Christian, (who cooked it) I felt compelled to shake his hand after I was so impressed. Pete the manager also came by and we exchanged pleasantries. Overall, everyone who worked here (especially Carlos) seemed to offer high-end service in an unassuming place. Highly recommend and I will definitely return.

We reserved a table for 9 (7 of us made it). We get there 10 minutes early and there is nothing available. The hostess said it would be a while, she grabs presumably a manager in back and says we don’t have a group for 7. But could seat us in the bar. which we agree. we get some waters after 10 minutes of waiting and then about 30 minutes into it we finally get to order food. another 20 minutes appetizers arrive. The fried deviled eggs were hardly edible (think fried rubber). We also got asparagus spears, chips/salsa, and calamari. It was all mediocre, especially for the price. Then another 20 minutes our entrees come. My burger looked good, but was so so and greasy. The fries weren’t cooked all the way through and seasoning was strange or maybe the fry oil needed to be changed? Either way. with how slow the service is and mediocre food (at best) plus a very loud restaurant, I would just avoid. go across the parking lot to RR if you want a burger.

I had the tuna for my appetizer and the French dip for dinner both were very good! The service was average, no check back on the food.

**One of the BEST tasting wood fired/flame smoked meats and burgers across the US! I’ve had BBQ in a lot of states (Michigan, New York, Texas, Colorado, Kansas, Washington, etc., and they were good also) and large cities, and Parkstone Wood Kitchen & Taps are still one of the best for natural smoked flavor from the wood fire cooking! Parkstone Wood Kitchen & Taps also provides an occasional discount so new customers could try the outstanding wood fired flavors! You all have got to try this place and go back again. -Derek-

Parkstone Wood Kitchen + Taps delivers an excellent dining experience with a relaxed, modern atmosphere and fresh, flavorful food. The grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and fries was perfectly seasoned and cooked to a tender finish, simple yet satisfying. The tuna poke appetizer was a standout, fresh, vibrant, and paired perfectly with crispy wonton chips.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the selection of beer taps make it a great spot for craft brew lovers. Whether you’re grabbing a casual bite or planning a night out with friends, this spot offers quality food, and drinks.

I generally avoid restaurants that are in the vicinity of malls/airports/etc because they are usually recycled corporate settings with moderately satisfying food. Then I tried ParkStone.
Upon entering, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and ambiance. I was greeted and seated by the manager, Peter, who was very friendly and accommodating. The server, Ben, never once left me waiting or wanting for anything from start to finish. I had multiple food items which were all delicious. I will never set foot in this restaurant without ordering the fried deviled eggs.
I do not write many online reviews about anything and my experience here was so exceptional that I had to share.
