My god I usually give airport restaurants some leeway but just couldn’t with this one. I ordered only a cauliflower and steak bowl as my meal and it took 45 minutes to get after I waited 25 just to get a cup of water. Then the food itself which was $25 was some of the worst food I’ve had. Basically unseasoned, cauliflower undercooked yet steak is completely cooked thru with absolutely no flavor. Just so bad.

Stopped in at Parkside (Austin Airport) for a quick bite before my flight and had a really disappointing experience. The bar was cluttered with dirty dishes, and my $13 fries were warm (not hot), missing the shallots, garlic, and parsley listed on the menu. Ketchup bottle was nearly empty, and no one checked on me during my visit.
I understand airport pricing and the need for quick service, but there should still be a basic standard of quality and care. Definitely not worth the price or the experience.

I grabbed a quick meal before my flight, and the fries were really good. They were seasoned perfectly. I took my food to go, and my waitress was nice; I have no complaints.

The food was decent but expensive, which I expected. They have a QR menu which was convenient. My server was awesome! She was very pregnant and still didn’t miss a beat. She was on it. I love when servers are attentive and friendly. Seemed like most of the staff was friendly so I’m not sure why the poor reviews.

A less crowded end spot near gate one. The fries were warm but tough like they were old and under a heat lamp. I had a chicken, avocado, bacon sandwich. The chicken was small and very overcooked and dry. Our server was very attentive and with a smile and what to serve. The two star topper was another server from this location my wife saw run away from the restaurant to the restroom with is sanitary glove on. When he came out of the restroom he still had the glove on when he returned to the restaurant. Not so sanitary.

Burger/bar inside Austin airport. Burger lacking in flavor is probably why they only offer cheeseburgers. The burger was cooked correctly. I wanted tomato only and it came with lettuce and onions. Fryer was down so french fries were not available so they offered 3 flavors of potato chips. I wasn’t in a hurry so the slower service was acceptable.

Most of the airports food stations were crowded. Parkside was right out my departing gate so I watched n waited for open seating. They had hightop & low top tables; and located at end of low # terminal gates. There was a small bar showing sports games too. But for an airport eatery, the food was very good. Found the cheeseburger to be fresh loaded with toppings. The fries were crispy, hot & seasoned well.

The customer service is terrible. They don’t allow you to choose seats even though plenty are available. I hope the owner addresses this issue—it should be an easy fix.

Wanted to catch breakfast before an early flight out of AUS. Ordered eggs sunny side up but plenty of egg white uncooked. No toast or hash browns but rather overly seasoned garlic fries and 2 strips of slightly under cooked bacon. Ran out of silverware so they gave us plastic forks which broke easily. As another reviewer stated, management really needs to improve on what should be a pretty easy meal to serve. Ended up walking down to one of the grab and go places instead.

One server. Multiple tables wide open. Group of 4 wanted to just have a drink. Hostess would not seat us. She said we could get a drink at bar. No seats together. I asked if we could get bar drinks and sit at one of many vacant tables. No.
I am glad I have never worked at a job that I cannot have the latitude to work with a common sense request to keep a customer
We left.
