Fantastic home town Barbeque. Great friendly people ans quick service. Original style east carolina bbq, chopped with a nice mustard base cole slaw. Crisp fried chicken, and a unique basted roast bbq chicken using thier east carolina vinager sauce. Mmmm. Dont forget the sides. All were fantastic. Tomato based brunswick stew, flaverful greenbeans. Rich mac and cheese. Our waiter Spencer was quick and helpful and the manager Clint came over and made us feel welcome. Dont forget dersert. Homemade banana pudding and sweet potato pie. Im stuffed.

I have lived in North Carolina for 5 years and I have never been to Parker’s. Boy have I been missing out! The Brunswick stew, a regional hearty stew, is fantastic. The star is the pulled BBQ is fantastic and the vinegar sauce is perfect. The banana shaped hush puppies are very addictive too. A Local landmark. Wonderful! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wow!! Could not have picked a better place for a “Lupper” (late lunch/early supper)!!
The service was spectacular!! Brandon, our waiter, was above and beyond. Everyone there was equally exceptional, including Blake. (Enjoyed the conversation)
And the food , BBQ was great, fried Chicken yummy, Boiled Potatoes tasty, crunchy fried Okra, and luscious NC Style Coleslaw .
And did I mention the Banana Pudding?
Portions were plentiful, with pitchers of Tea to wash it down with!! Sweet !!!!!!
Visited another location a couple of years ago and the experience/service had me avoiding Parker’s altogether. Boy, am I glad I have a “3 strikes and you’re out” rule!!! Will not hesitate to return to the original Parker’s…..

Beware the put vinegar in the pork!!!! I had no idea and have never had vinegar in pork and did not like it. If you like it great if not order something else. BBQ sauce taste like ketchup. Not from NC wanted a local spot not again not for me. Fries and hush puppies were good. Service was amazing and restaurant very clean. My son had fried chicken also very good. Coleslaw looks like chopped mustard does not taste well.

My family loves this place, but I’ve never enjoyed it. So I don’t get their fascination. This last time we went the food came out cold, and we had to send several items back to be heated up. It just wasn’t appeasing to me, not in looks or flavor.

Got BBQ sandwich. It was pretty good. Lots of BBQ on it! If you like BBQ without lots of seasoning and vinegar sauce in it you will love this BBQ! I have to say the French fries were really good! Brown and crunchy. The slaw was good.

BBQ was absolutely delicious. Unsweetened tea very tasty. Hush puppies & corn sticks were excellent. I recommend dipping them in honey mustard sauce. Best coleslaw I have ever had in a restaurant. Staff was very helpful and polite. Food was ready quickly. Being first time visitors we each were given free dessert. I had the fudge brownie. Hmmm good. Atmosphere is not ornate or fancy but who cares — it’s all about the food folks. If you’re ever in Greenville, definitely eat here. They have 3 locations in Greenville. Highly recommended eatery.

We were pleasantly surprised with our first experience visiting Parkers BBQ. The food was good and plentiful, we opted for the ‘all you can eat’ family style dinner. You start out with as many choices as you want. The fried chicken and BBQ was really good. Especially liked the slaw, livers, green beans and hush puppies. Our server was friendly and attentive which we liked. I guess my only suggestion would be smaller portions to start as you can order more when you’re ready …. Felt bad leaving some food on the table uneaten.
