If you are visiting VC, you absolutely must make the trip down to Parker Place to have some delectably delicious Chinese-style barbecue meats! Service is quick, prices are reasonable, and the food is beyond mouthwatering! The first time I went (because of course I had to go again just before heading to YVR), crispy skin & char siu pork over rice fueled my day of adventure in Richmond. Be warned however, the individual order of “duck wing” is not barbecue duck as I’d assumed, but cold, season-less wings clearly meant for stocks. Thankfully the hostel I stayed at had a communal kitchen, so those didn’t go to waste and became a lovely soup base! I cannot recommend this stall enough!

One of the best BBQ spots in Richmond! We always stop by for the BBQ duck whenever we’re in town — it’s consistently delicious. They only accept cash, so be sure to have some on hand. It gets busy quickly, so it’s best to go early or call ahead to place an order for pickup. We also tried the roasted pork, and it was absolutely tasty. Highly recommend!

This place is a must-visit for Chinese BBQ in Richmond. It’s so good that even on a regular weekday, there’s a long line of people waiting. I got there around 4:45 PM and was disappointed to see that all the roast pork and most of the chicken were already gone. This is a testament to how popular and high-quality their meat is. I did get some fantastic BBQ pork, which never fails to impress. This place is a guaranteed hit, but a word to the wise: plan to come early if you want the full selection!

Inside Parker place you will find this BBQ house. It gets very busy, so expect to line up. The meats are displayed nicely, and you can choose the cut that you want. The butchers are very friendly and helpful. Don’t hesitate to ask if you are not sure what’s what. It’s in a very small store, so line ups will always go into the mall. Staff are very clean, all with hair nets and gloves.

Not sure I understand the hype and line ups. Service was meh, prices were average and the cleanliness was a bit questionable in my opinion. Finally got to try this popular roast meat place that always has a line! Luckily, the wait wasn’t too long — about 10 minutes. Watching the chef skillfully slice the meat was impressive. I bought the honey-glazed BBQ pork and the honey pork jowl. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos, but if you love a rich honey flavor, you have to try the pork jowl — it’s absolutely delicious!

The skin of the roasted pork is sooo crispy. The pork is seasoned to perfection.

Went here earlier this month from a friend’s recommendation that it was better than HK BBQ Master food. There is a line-up always for this place which means that their food should be decent. The store is a typical chinese BBQ place.
Tried the BBQ pork and the roast pork. Even when we asked for 1/2 fat 1/2 slim for the BBQ pork, we got mostly slim which was ok but not the best. However the roast pork was delicious … the skin was crispy, the balance between fat and meat was perfect. Tip: eat it hot as it is the best.
