What a find!!! We had breakfast here and the food and service were amazing! We will definitely be back!
We have been in the Jefferson area for years and we found this place by searching for a place that served breakfast on Sunday. We enjoyed the avocado toast, tomato basil soup, quiche, biscuit with gravy, cinnamon roll and French toast amongst our table. We were all happy! We cannot say enough good things about Park Vista Diner. The food was wonderful and the staff made us feel like family.
They have an outdoor patio which will be super inviting when the weather is warm. Full service bar, beer, wine.

This place has been nicely renovated! When you walk in you grab a menu and seat yourself. When you’ve decided what you want you go to the counter to order and pay. They bring the food to you.
EVERYONE was friendly!
My wife had the BLT, which included bacon and country ham. She loved it! She also loved the potato salad that came with it.
I got a fried boneless chicken thigh with onion rings. Super crispy chicken. The onion rings were the best I’ve had in years.

Very neat little diner that we tried based upon excellent Google reviews. Our experience was like others I had read…very good. We arrived around 12:30 on Friday and there weren’t any other customers, which always concerns me. But excellent service awaited us inside. We would have chosen al fresco dining because how neat the outdoor area was but it was raining. Good beer & wine selections. A food menu to please most anyone, like my spouse who eats GF. She had bbq pulled chicken with sides okra and baked apples. I had the brisket grilled cheese with dudes okra and fries. We both loved our meal. Several other diners came in while we were there. It’s a unique location right on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We weren’t disappointed in the least.

We were in West Jefferson for a few days and looking for a good breakfast. WE FOUND IT!!!!! Park Vista Diner had great food and the most welcoming, friendly staff we have ever encountered. The corn beef hash was the best EVER. It was fresh and had large pieces of tender corn beef. They also added any additional toppings we wanted. We added onions, jalapenos and a fried egg. If you are looking for breakfast this is the place!!

My family ate here for Sunday brunch on Memorial Day weekend. We sat outside and the weather was excellent. We also brought our 6-year old black Labrador Retriever, who enjoyed watching others eat in their open-air patio section. The food was made fresh and had amazing flavor. We highly recommend trying the shrimp and grits and eggs benedict & biscuits and gravy combo. Also, their blackberry mimosa and other summer cocktails were very refreshing. We will continue to come here for brunch and hope to also experience their live music and day drinking events. If you are traveling along the Blue Ridge Parkway or a Wilkes/Ashe local, this place is a must do! Great food and service here!!!

1st of all one has to take the menu to a table, deside what one wants to order. Then stand back in a line to order, very time consuming & inconvenient. No service, luke warm food & skimpy small thin quiches. Had to pick up waters back at the service areas to take to our table.5 of us & wait staff took 4 trips to deliver food. One had to get our own condiments, service ware etc. Then asked to clear our own tables.
Other patrons complained on their way out as well. For the food & the price we were WAY overcharged. We will not return. If we could have posted ZEROS, we would have.

My family and I ate lunch at the PV Diner and everyone enjoyed their meals! The staff was friendly and there is a great relaxed atmosphere. What a neat spot! Also do not miss the General Store. We will be back.
