I recently visited Park Service Café after hearing a lot of buzz about their drinks and cozy atmosphere. The café itself is charming — bright, clean, and modern with a relaxed vibe that makes it a nice place to catch up with friends or get some work done. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and my order came out quickly, which I really appreciated.

I decided to try the Rose Vanilla Latte, since it sounded unique and beautifully presented on their menu. While it looked nice and had a pleasant aroma, the flavor didn’t quite live up to expectations. The rose and vanilla notes were very subtle, almost too faint to distinguish, and the overall taste leaned a bit flat. I was hoping for a richer espresso base and a more balanced floral sweetness, but instead it felt a little watered down and lacked the depth I was expecting.

That said, I could see the potential — maybe it just wasn’t the best choice for my personal taste. I’d still come back to try other drinks or pastries since the ambiance and service were great. With some tweaks to the flavor balance, that latte could easily become a standout item.

Park Service has become my favorite coffee spot when visiting Columbus. This morning, I had a Kenyan washed process single-origin espresso roasted by Little Waves in Durham, NC. They nailed it.

I’ve tried mainly their chai tea latte, pastries, and food. I love the food options they have. It keeps things interesting. Their chai tea tastes like battery acid to me a bit which is a major bummer considering it’s my go to. It’s too bitter for my taste. The service and the atmosphere don’t entirely make up for it but are very great for a quick date, meet, or solo trip out.

They know specialty coffee! Pour over game is strong and quality drip coffee and espresso bar. Baked goods are tasty (and vegan). Can get busy and a little slow, but that’s to be expected for quality. Love the vibe in the shop…cool 2nd floor seating.

After 3 days in Columbus trying several coffee spots, I finally discovered my favorite . Park Service has fast and friendly staff, a small but lovely selection of baked treats (everything cheese scones??? Breakfast focaccia? YES PLEASE!), and a chill, lovely atmosphere with a bit more seating than some other downtown spots (look up! There’s a loft!).
Prices are reasonable, free Wi-Fi, lots of places to charge your device. Love it, love it! I parked at Goodale Park and walked over.

GREAT little coffee shop, I don’t give many 5’s across the board put Park Service Coffee earned it. Quiet shop, really great friendly barista and most importantly amazing espresso. Highly recommend.

We tried Cappuccino & Cortado both tasted not that good because of the milk, so i suggest they ask the customer what kind of milk they want instead of pouring oatmilk immediately, other than that we also have tried Cold brew and Cold brew coffee cake and both were good The place also has good vibes to it
