Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday. We got there before the big rush of people. The restaurant is small, but cute!
We tried the Cajun smothered Kirby, the eggs Benedict, and the pb and j French toast with grape jelly.
My husband liked his Cajun Kirby, the eggs Benedict was ok, a bit too bland for me, and the French toast was very good, but also very rich, glad we split it! Hashbrowns were ok. Orange juice was great! I love pulp in my orange juice.
The service is spectacular. Everyone is so nice!
A bit expensive for what it was, but that is everywhere nowadays. Happy to support a local restaurant though!

I’ve driven by this place maybe a thousand times. Glad I finally got a chance to stop in. Definitely the kind of place where you walk in for the first time and the volume drops for a moment as everyone gets a read on you but that’s exactly how my locale spot is too. You can tell these people care about the food they make and the people in their community. The food was great and the service was exceptional. Thanks for having us.

Very neat little place. The atmosphere is okay, didn’t like that the building seemed dirty?
Got a mushroom and Swiss burger. Wayyy too greasy, cooked weirdly (more pink to one side), mushrooms were clearly canned and tasted weirdly sweet. Toasted buns were good though.
I think it’s actually a very cute restaurant but the food wasn’t great. Won’t be coming back.

So my friends and I stopped here for the first time ever on our way coming home from one of my best friends’ wedding. I won’t delay it anymore, I must say this is a outstanding restaurant. The food was spectacular, the service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere cannot be beat. To elaborate, I am a sucker for great customer service and the hospitality of everyone working here was so friendly, funny, and charming. The hostess even took our picture upon our request! If you are not convinced by now, I highly recommended you check out this place! Also….They trade coffee for gossip!

Stumbled across this establishment while looking for a breakfast place. Walking through the door you are instantly greeted warmly by the staff and they really make you feel at home. There are a lot of food options and it all tasted fresh and flavorful. I had the chicken fried steak and I recommend it, super crispy.

I am only rating this a one-star not because of the food or the service but because of the experience I had. 11/1/25 I came in with my girlfriend to have breakfast and met a delightful senior woman with a walker and having a great conversation when some woman came over and told her to stop talking to us (we will call her the Interrupter for now on)and that “someone,” insinuating owners or management didn’t want her talking to the customers and then she should just sit and wait for her food. I was so upset! It was a wonderful conversation we were having and we were not bothered at all. The woman was clearly lonely. I was brought to tears and was shaking because I was just so upset with the way the interrupter made the senior woman feel like nothing. I told the interrupter that it was fine and we were having a good conversation and that she ruined our meal and that we were going to leave because it was just so heartbreaking. I then informed my server that I wanted to pay for the senior woman’s meal and she said that somebody had paid for ours. The interrupter apologized, the damage had been done and she had made the woman feel like she was unworthy to be seen and talked to and that was heartbreaking. I hope that whoever it is that didn’t want this woman talking to their customers gets a clue and talks to whoever the interrupter was and tells them to butt out as I feel she is a regular who thought she had authority to say something. I hope I get a response to this review. Interrupter, I hope you have the day you deserve!
Park cafe, I love your pancakes!

Small place, decent food and great service. It’s a small town café where I could tell most patrons were locals. I had the oatmeal and pancakes which were both good sized. Price was incredibly reasonable. Highly recommend

Small cozy place with yummy breakfast and the coffee doesn’t stop flowing until you want it to! Came here on a cold day and it just warmed me up having a delicious Kirby, some hot coffee, and friendly staff. It’s a small place so I’m sure it can fill up quickly! The Kirby was great, my friend had theirs smothered in something, looked wonderful! I’d definitely come back dor breakfast or the lunch items they had!

Classic old diner atmosphere and food.
On main drag in St. Paul Park.
Staff was friendly. Service was fast.
Small place but still a good amount of booths and seating.
We will stop again when passing through.

It’s a great diner. Not fancy. Lots of locals. If you love the diner feel, you’ll love this. Great breakfast, the cinnamon oat cakes were fabulous. Service was friendly, fun, fast. Glad we stopped there!
