This little gem is in the Pharr City building, and we missed it the first time by but so glad we turned around and found it! The sandwiches are made especially for you using the freshest ingredients. We had the Pharr Club, Grilled Cheese, and the Florence. I’ll post pictures, but they only show half the sandwiches because I forgot to take a picture as soon as they were brought to the table! The corner restaurant is clean, modern, and bright. Prices are reasonable. The soups looked great, but we didn’t try them today. Special drink today was the pineapple lemonade and is refreshing. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

I had the Mr. Spicy which is a turkey sandwich with some fresh slices of cucumber, avocado and jalapeño. It was delicious but the best part was that it was affordable, clean and the service was incredibly friendly.

Such a cute place! The atmosphere is inviting and the decor is cute. I had a combo, which includes half a sandwich, soup, and a drink. I had never been here before, so I wasn’t sure on which soup I should get. The gentleman raking our order offered me a sample to try before ordering.
The sandwich had so much meat. Everything was delicious and the service was great. I will definitely be back.

We were visiting the area and looking for something other then fast food for lunch and stubbled across Park Bench Deli on a Google search. So glad we did! The only downside was this little gem was truly hidden! After a quick phone call to the deli we were able to find it sitting inside the City Hall. It was well worth the hunt, our food was amazing and the staff was just as great! The deli was super clean and offered a cool ambience. Definitely worth the visit.

Raw bacon in our turkey bacon ranch sandwich. Employee stated bacon is cooked on Monday’s (today is Wednesday) and stored in fridge. I think they grabbed the wrong container out of the fridge. It was definitely RAW. Out of soup before noon Usually would rate this place a 5 but today very disappointed.

I just had the best club sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Everything tasted extremely fresh. The proportions were on point. The price was right. The deli is clean and located inside the Pharr city building. It’s a relatively new facility. The only thing I can think of to improve was the wait time for your food is a touch on the longer end, but it’s well worth the wait. There’s free WiFi in the building and it’s a nice place to sit and have lunch.

But seriously, if you like sandwiches, you need to go. Visit Michael and his crew, and they will take your tastebuds on a journey. I have only been there twice twice, and I have already tried 5 of their sandwiches! Such good combinations and so full of flavor!
