For anyone who has been here you know parking is limited so i ended up parking on the other side of the park but I really enjoyed going for a nice walk through the park and when I got to the host they were very busy but they let me known they do have a to-go window so I ordered a delicious strawberry smoothie that tasted so fresh and real and I went on with my walk. Great spot I would highly recommend coming and if you can’t find parking like me park on the other side and enjoy this beautiful park before getting to the cafe. Bring your fur babies it’s a Very pet friendly cafe and park.

Randomly saw this place while driving the area. I don’t live in the area so we stop by to have a little meal! We loved the monte Cristo! Big enough to share. Love just sitting in the park. They also have a dog menu as well. Nice little stop.

Had a small gathering with a few friends to celebrate a Birthday here. The service was so fast, the food was delicious and you can never go wrong in a park setting like Central Park in Huntington Beach. And my most favorite part, its dog friendly! I love bringing my pooch everywhere and getting to eat outdoors with her is always such a treat. Just one tiny thing that I wish could change at this darling gem of a restaurant. They don’t take reservations. Boooo! That was the only downfall for me. So as far as having a surprise party for my friend; it was more of a, Ta-Da! Once we all arrived we got to be seated. The staff was so friendly and we all felt very welcomed. One of my favorite places in Huntington Beach. My friends are now hooked. And will be coming back monthly to enjoy a yummy dish and a stroll around the beautiful park.

You can’t beat the Park Bench for sheer lovely atmosphere. Literally nowhere else in OC do you get such a fabulous outdoor park setting while you eat at a bona fide restaurant — and where you can actually bring your dog; that’s why they get away with such high prices.
But if you want an extra special lunch, brunch, or breakfast in a beautiful setting? PBC.
Treating your wife or mother on a special day? PBC.
Just have a spring morining off of work, time to walk the dog through the park, and a generous food budget that allows you to splurge on a simple meal? PBC.
The food is plenty good, don’t get me wrong. It’s just not the level of “wow” I’d expect for paying 25 bucks for a brisket benedict. But that gorgeous al fresco setting elevates everything to chef’s kiss status. So yeah, I’ve been here for special occasions for 14 years and will probably continue to visit PBC at least once or twice a year on certain great-weather occasions — well, for at least as long as I live in OC.

This adorable little cafe feels like a true extension of the park. VERY dog friendly. Tables are bolted down and have a leash to connect your friend. There is a big doggy water station with bowls at the entrance. There were dogs of all sizes at the tables around us including a fair share of folks waking their pooches last us for a park stroll. The table was put in the grass and felt like a super upscale picnic. Service was fast and friendly. The food was really great. I had one of the breakfast burritos and made 2 meals out of it. It came with homemade salsa. We also had chicken fried steak and it had a nice gravy. Nothing like my mamas country sausage gravy but still tasty. The only downside is that the jelly at the table was strawberry or grape only super processed. They made a raspberry preserve in house but charge $1 for the tiniest little container. Also a $1 upcharge for oat milk. Scrambled eggs were a bit dry. Would definitely go back on another beautiful day.

⚠️ This place has the worst quality / price / quantity ratio of any restaurant I have been to in the world! ⚠️ Absolutely disgraceful. $23 for a brisket burrito. Yes, $23. What’s worse than the price is how bland and flavorless it was, plus a laughable amount of “brisket” (as you can hardly call it that). This restaurants profit margins must be huge with the prices and bad quality ingredients they use. Easily the biggest rip off and horrible food of any place I have ever been. Owner should be embarrassed, but just lives off the location and ripping people off. Again, absolutely disgusting food. Stay far far away from this place.

Great place for brunch. Atmosphere is unique, sitting in the park. Very dog friendly in open air space with water bowls and dog leashes around the tables.

I have been dining here for a little over 4 years now and the dishes that I’ve had have been delightful.
My favorite starters are onion rings with a cup of chili.
The best onion rings in OC. Make sure to pair it with the jalapeño ranch.
I tend to get the Morning Cristo or pancakes.
My wife’s favorite is the Mikes Tuna melt,French toast, and eggs Benedict.
Many dishes to list over the years but those are our top.
I just dined in yesterday morning and the price changes made recent will probably scare me off.
Instead of dining in weekly I’ll be dining once a month.
Everything has been up charged once again around $2, just this year. Our favorite dishes from the start have gone up more than $6 dollars since then.
The least expensive dish are the build your own omelette at $13 which is just the egg, $1.20 for each vegetable , cheese $2.25, meats are $3 which is actually a $20 omelette and up. At $15 you can get a French toast by itself, or you can add blueberries or bananas for $2 each. Having said that, dishes start at $20 per person.
It’s understanding the way the economy is going but the fact that portions are smaller for more money is insane. Usually the portions were decent sized, presentable how they should be but not anymore.
It is possible different cooks different portions, but the original Chef has to be present because the flavor profile is still there with every dish.
I will finish off by saying that the food is flavorful and does deserve 5 Stars.
The rest of the negatives are do to drastic price increases and smaller noticeable portions to usual customers.

Always enjoy outdoor environments. It”s nice to see everyone with their kids and pups. But the. Service is always outstanding. The owner has a secret hot sauce only on request his son tried experimenting and I lived the new flavor slightly sweet but with a-smoke to it . The Brisket Benedict is hard to get away from once you’ve tried it . But I did so the I was able to enjoy the Monte Cristo too. Yummy everything. Thank you for everything.
