The walls of this Jersey shore bakery (apparently established in 1947) are adorned with autographed photos of years past, but it’s age (and talking moose head) is part of the charm. The baked goods on display make you feel like a kid in a candy store. Too late in the day for a breakfast sandwich, I took the staff’s recommendation for a delicious (and large) cinnamon swirl. I’m sure to come back when in the area.

Hands down the best powdered jelly donut I’ve ever had. So soft. And the jelly is nice and citrusy without being overly sweet.
I also had a pecan danish ring thing which was equally amazing. Friendly service, fun weird decor and affordable prices. Only managed to snag a pic of the pecan danish, as the jelly donut was so good it was gone in seconds.

We have been vacationing in Lavallette for years. This bakery is a must stop first thing when we arrive and a last stop for baked goods on our way out. The atmosphere is good and the products are amazing. Onion rolls, bagels and especially the Pecan Ring. I have tried many different treats here and everything is great! But did I mention the Pecan ring? It’s the perfect morning dessert, afternoon dessert or evening! The line is long at times, it’s worth it though. I just go early in the morning so I can be sure everything I want is still there and grab extras just in case. Thank you for never disappointing! Keep up the success!

I arrived very late in the day about 1 hour before closing to do a quick Scouting report for the Food Network App. I loved the history and all of the nostalgia that was part of my experience. There was no line when I went, but there were still some great baked goods that were left. They recommended the Crumb Cake which was very good and a dozen donuts. The donuts were average size and could be consumed in 2 bites. Fresh with a base amount of filling, making it a very good choice for a quick grab n go Donut. I will be back again. Not too many of these historic places left. A true gem.

What makes Parks so great is the fact their donuts deliver on the basics. Besides being fresh I don’t have to hunt for creme in my Boston creme donuts. Every bite has creme in it! Their pecan rings are loaded with pecans so every piece has pecans on it! This is true with everything they create. Only downside is that they are seasonal and always have a line. With that said l highly recommend that you give it try before closes for year and maybe forever

Great local bakery with plenty of breakfast options as well as sweeter treats. Wide variety of cookies and donuts. Bunch of decorations that create a very kid-friendly environment. There was a scooby doo event going on, which is hard to explain but kids were into it. Highly recommend stopping here and supporting local businesses

Unfortunately this place is highly highly overhyped and it’s way overpriced. We purchased a loaf of white bread, a 1/4 stromboli, and 2 croissants. The total for the whole order was $30
Both croissants & the stromboli were raw & uncooked in the middle and were inedible. The loaf of bread was nothing special that I couldn’t get fresh from a supermarket for less than $5. No idea why this place is popular. Nostalgia?

Don’t know why it’s taken me so many years to try this place…but omg. So gooooood! There was a line out the door for the place, so I knew it had to be good. Highly recommend the pb&j donut. Yum!
