The line was really long to get inside the building, but it was well worth the wait. The beignets were perfect, probably the best I have ever had. There were 5 of us in our party and everyone loved their meal.

We really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. It was my first time going and it was worth the trip. My friend had the brisket biscuit and he said it was delicious. The orange juice and white cranberry juice was also delicious. Everything we had was cooked to perfection, especially the breakfast potatoes. I will certainly return if I’m ever in Lafayette again.

This place has the best food in Lafayette, hands down. Everything was so good, and we were served incredibly fast. The owner is the sweetest lady, and everyone in my group loved their food. It was all so well-seasoned and absolutely delicious. And the mimosas were amazing.

We stopped in for breakfast while on a trip through Louisiana, we walked in and realized how popular it was the line was to the door. After a minute they asked if we wanted to sit at the bar and get seated right away so we took it. We ordered quick and the service was fantastic. For how crowded it was we didn’t have to wait too long for the food. We ordered avocado toast, potatoes, Mexican omelette, biscuit and croissant. Everything was absolutely delicious me and my husband both loved it!

My wife and I went here for the first time yesterday. The wait time wasn’t too bad, considering it was 1pm on a Sunday. They have a good selection on the menu and it’s reasonably priced. I’d definitely recommend the Shrimp and Grits, along w/ the French Toast. The Saint Martin is flavorful, but the brisket is too tough. I do recommend going to eat here. Overall we were satisfied with the food an exceptional service!

Large portions, quick service and a broad menu at reasonable prices, including kid friendly options like chocolate chip pancakes. My order (crabcake Benedict) was tasty and had a perfectly poached egg on it, but also seemed a little one dimensional and starch – heavy; I couldn’t finish the order. Some fruit instead of the second scoop of grits would have been a nice contrast and a little less heavy. My wife had a less positive experience with the gluten-free menu ; she found the GF biscuit to be dense and gummy, contrasting with the much fluffier texture of the regular offering. Her request for extra-crispy bacon also didn’t get fulfilled ; the strips that she received were cooked to what I assume was the normal standard. Overall, this seems like a good choice for feeding a large group, but nothing blew me away.

Great surprise for breakfast. Stopped for breakfast before heading home from our one night in Lafayette.

GREAT food!!! It is NOT your “normal” grits…it is NOT your “normal” sausage gravy…and I’m all about traditional country breakfast. And let me tell you, if you’re going to put your own spin on traditional food, it better be good!

Well…it WAS…VERY GOOD!!! All of our food was GREAT!!!

If you’re in the area, this place is a MUST!!!

I have heard the rave for months now on Parish biscuit… (let me start by saying I LOVE when businesses use parish in the name as a Louisiana native because it’s another thing that sets us upon from the other states!)

The ordering and seating system scared me at first but its actually pretty genius!

The wait wasnt at all.

The food is delicious and definitely hit the spot. Those cheesy grits chefs kiss .

The music played was super fun, staff was extremely quick with turn overs and very positive!

I got the southern traditional breakfast and those biscuits are so so good.

Crab cakes were so good.

Top notch!

Plus the place is super cute.

Came in before work for a quick breakfast as a solo customer. Ordered biscuits and gravy and a side of their roasted corn grits and bacon. I had just received my food and taken a couple of bites and had to use the restroom. As busy as they are there is only one stall and even though I had to wait I returned in less than 5 mins. When I returned the table had been completely bussed. I had barely eaten 10% of my breakfast. And had none of my juice or water. I complained to the manager as I at least needed some water to take medications I have to have with food and because honestly they needed to know. I have dined solo countless times and never once have I ever had my table cleared with basically a full serving of food or even a completely empty plate while having to use the restroom. Even when the place was busy. The manager offered a $25 gift card for throwing away my basically entire meal. I didn’t ask for this, I just wanted a glass of water and I didn’t have time to wait for more food to be made however the offer did make me decide not to write a scathing review as it seemed a genuine attempt to make it right. Except, since I had already decided I was never going back I gave the gift card to a coworker who would. Tonight my coworker tells me when she tried to use the gift card it was empty. So much for genuine attempt to make it right. Now I really want people to know what kind of place this is. Based on the three bites of the food I got the grits were bland and didn’t tasted cooked well. The gravy was nothing special at all. The biscuit was ok. However I prefer my biscuit split before gravy is poured over it and this was not so all the gravy mostly ran down the sides. But mostly I’ll remember this place for the awful service and disingenuous management. There are plenty of much better breakfast places to spend money at. I would not recommend Parish Biscuit to anyone.
