As always it’s a true delight dining at Paris Go who are attentive to your every need. I love their fish dishes that are beautifully prepared with French finesse. We especially love this place as it is one of the few places where you can bring your own wine and enjoy their great French food. A true hidden gem. Thank you Hugo and team.

Amazing service; both waitresses were so lovely and helpful. Food was good too, we had the steak tartare which was delicious and revisited, we had the mussels and the canard, and my fav fav obviously bread and butter complimentary. The wine selection is lovely too, the Riesling was really good. Great little French bistro I’d def recommend. The ambiance is lovely inside as well.

Delicious steak and fries but the ravioli with pesto entree was just average for me. I was impressed by the atmosphere and I thoroughly appreciate the BYO option. The apple tart dessert was yummy though i didn’t enjoy the meringue or the profiteroles

I had a FANTASTIC DINNER with my girlfriends here. The manager, Hugo, was so kind and knowledgeable about wine. He suggested the most suitable wine for each plate. Highly recommend this place, especially for couples or families who want to celebrate a special day.

Btw, should try the duck steak and eggplant salad! Super tasty!!!!!!!!!!

Service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself had a nice ambience. Whilst the majority of the food had good flavours, we were unfortunately was let down by a few issues with the food. The whole baby snapper wasn’t scaled properly (picking out the scales from in between our teeth wasn’t very elegant) and the dish overall felt quite under seasoned. The steak tartare had a decent flavour but was let down with very obviously burnt toast which ruined the flavour. Perhaps the kitchen was understaffed this day, or maybe the chef was having an off day, but paying $24 for an entree and it being served with burnt toast left quite a bitter taste in the mouth.

Gorgeous, busy little restaurant in authentic French style. Right up there for quality, in fact nicer meals than some on the other side of town I’ve been to. Generous servings, everyone was very happy with their meals. Excellent service.

Fantastic authentic french restaurant. Highly recommend! Great to be able to bring a nice wine from the cellar with their BYO option. The only con I noticed during our third time dining is that they took a bit longer taking off our main plates from the table, i still wanted to have dessert but we sadly didn’t have enough time. Might be because there were only 2 staff working on a Sunday, and the restaurant was almost full. We will still certainly be back and recommend paris go to our friends.

Had dinner to celebrate an occasion on Thursday night and as always a triumph of a night. Our go-to place for reliable and delicious French cuisine. Priced well compared to our other choices, but felt a tad more this time around. Nevertheless, a great night out.

REVIEW:
This is not my favourite French restaurant.
I was keen to try a new French restaurant which had high Google ratings… but should’ve stuck with what I knew.
Other alternatives in Melbourne are: Philippe, Bistrot D’Orsay and France Soir.

The food was okay. Nothing amazing, although my friends did like the Raviolis au chevre. Would suggest this an your entree!
Other than that, a lot of the food was under seasoned.
I’ve been to flavourful French restaurants before, so wouldn’t say this is a trait of French dishes. Nonetheless, there’s handy salt and pepper crackers on the table for you to go to town on.

Surprisingly the best part was the bread and butter for me. It’s in gorgeous little swirls, and the bread is great as a carrier for the creaminess.

Service was a little lacking. They barely addressed the food, and we had to guess which pate was the pork/duck. Wish there was more friendliness, more interaction, more… service.
