I’ve been in DTLA for a while and have never been here. Glad I stopped by!
The main deserts I gave to workers at my building. I actually only ate the pizzette and pig in the blanket. Both were very delicious and great for brunch.
I’d definitely come back here again! Parking can be a pain so I suggest walking or if you find street parking.

Great prices with a wide variety of delicious pastries and cakes. The menu offers everything from sandwiches and breads to drinks. The service is excellent, and I especially love the matcha latte—the cheese soft cake was absolutely delicious.

They honestly are the prettiest and delicious morning cafe spot in DTLA. The food, pastries, and drinks are rich in flavor. My favorite drink is their Korean Iced Milk Coffee! I get all my special occasions cakes from there. Parking is street parking so it’s limited. I risk going late to work all the time for my pick me up …

It’s the same as any of the other Paris Baguette as far as I can tell but I mostly just came here to post the photos—I got my gf food here remotely so I happened to photographed everything. She liked the food! Not the best bakery but a solid 4 start corporate joint. The sausage roll is a decent price for the amount of food.

The cakes, coffee, and everything here are perfect. I really love this place—I’ve come many times to buy in person, and I also order online. The cakes are always fresh and delicious.
However, I’ve had a disappointing experience with customer service. The employee at the front, especially one lady, is very aggressive and unfriendly. It takes away from the otherwise great experience.
I truly love Paris Baguette, but I hope management addresses this issue with staff professionalism so the service can match the quality of the food that’s why guys I give you 2 stars

Cozy Spot with Fresh Sandwiches and Delightful Cakes
A lovely, quiet café in Downtown LA, perfect for a calm bite amidst the city bustle. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of options available!
I ordered the egg salad sandwich, grilled cheese, mini castella cake, and soft cheesecake. The sandwiches were fantastic-fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The highlight for me was definitely the castella cake. It was incredibly moist and airy, with just the right touch of sweetness-perfect even if you’re mindful of your sugar intake. Hands down, one of the best castella cakes I’ve had.
Unfortunately, the cheesecake was a letdown. The texture was dry and dense, making it hard to enjoy, and I couldn’t bring myself to finish it.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this place for most of their offerings, especially the sandwiches and the castella cake. Just maybe give the cheesecake a pass. Looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu!

Nice place to sit and have a quick bite. I came in out of the cold afternoon, the cafe was nice and warm. The seating area is large. The sweets offerings are plentiful, but they only a few savory offerings. I took my time deciding what to get. The employee was really nice and very polite, Adam I think is his name. The croissant I ordered was okayyyyy, but would come back based on the service. Give Adam a raise!

Check my history, I never complain. But this business needs to know that their customer service is really really bad. I stayed at freehand this last week, 5 days. I understand staffing levels may be stressed, but I was not greeted once. I’m not offended like others might be. Twice I walked in and left due to staff being engaged with each other not even knowing I was there. Nothing artistic about the lavazza coffee, though that is to be expected. The pastries although assembled well, are nothing special. If you don’t make this a people driven spot it will probably be a drain on your company resources. Not being greeted sends up a red flag for me. I’m not scary, homeless looking, or a person of color. Other folks may interpret this lack of a greeting to be more racially or class motivated. I assume it’s just really poor training. I’m not an entitled complainer, just thought you should know. Good luck

Pastries were excellent. Pumpkin krapfen was something unique. Coffee is decently good. Tables don’t get clean though, there should be someone handling this thing during rush hours.
