Located on 1st Street in Coronado Island, Parfait Paris is an award winning French Bakery specializing in handcrafted desserts, macarons, and pastries – all made from scratch. We came to this bakery during our trip to Coronado Island. This is a small but nicely decorated shop with limited seating. We ordered Crème Brûlée and Crepe Nutella. The service was quick, and our food arrived almost immediately. However, the food tasted fairly average and it was overpriced. Our overall experience was average, and we have no plan to return.

I stopped by Parfait Paris on Coronado Island curious to try their cookie–croissant hybrid, especially having had versions of this pastry in Paris and Amsterdam. This one missed the mark for me. Rather than a croissant with cookie dough baked into the lamination, it felt more like a standard cookie placed on top of a pastry that didn’t truly resemble a croissant, with additional soft cookie filling inside. It was fine, but not comparable to the versions I’ve enjoyed abroad.
Service was unfortunately lacking. I was the only customer in the shop and waited several minutes without acknowledgment. When I did order, the pastry was offered warmed, but it still came out cold. At around $10, it felt overpriced for both the execution and the experience.

Criminally underrated. This is by far the best crêpe I’ve had in San Diego yet. Authentically French, lots of pâtisseries et cafés to pick from, high quality & fresh ingredients. This is why we love “hole-in-the-wall” places here in SD, they’re always phenomenal, crucial contributors of culture and flavor, and this is no exception. If you want or need French pastry in your life, go here. Fantastique.

Stopped by for an ice cream and a pastry before dinner. I got the hazelnut and pistachio gelato and an almond croissant. Eating this with the skyline views outside is so nice. Almond croissant was warmed up and flaky, yum. I tried some of the other gelato flavors too and they’re all decent!

Ordered a L’alsacien Croissant. So good!!! Coffee was perfect. Server Sophia was very attentive and sweet. We came from San Diego to eat here for the afternoon- so glad we did. Best pastries. They need an option for “a bite of everything”.

Great place to stop by on your walk in Coronado!
We got breakfast here. The croissant breakfast sandwich was good, but a little greasy. The sandwich was also good. The coffee was okay, but we will definitely be back to try these sweets! Very minimal seating inside, but outside there is plenty, and you can enjoy the views.
If you have mobility restrictions, this shop is decent sized to not cause big problems. Service was fast and they were very kind. Tap to pay was available. We had to park pretty far away since this location was in a shopping area, but it wasn’t impossible!

Parfait Paris in Coronado is a must-visit for pastry lovers! Hands down, the best almond croissant I have ever had—flaky, buttery, and filled with just the right amount of almond goodness. And the sourdough loaf? Huge, fresh, and easily the best sourdough I’ve ever eaten. Everything here is made with care, and you can taste the quality in every bite. 5 stars all the way!

Stopped here for breakfast after taking the ferry to the island. It was a great decision because the food was amazing. This egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on the croissant was absolutely delicious . I had a sparkling lemonade as well.

I have been coming to this little shop every day (sometimes twice a day) for their lavender honey latte – YUMM!! But I now wish I would’ve tried their crepes earlier in my days here in Coronado… the galette complete was absolutely DELICIOUS… and I’m sad that I’m heading home today and unable to enjoy any other crepes! I guess I will just have to plan another trip back to SD!! Yes… for crepes!
